  1. Well either a fan or not, Tosun is the best scoring threat at the moment. Niasse is a good asset but doesn’t have the required capabilities to be a starting striker and we all know about DCL. Another striker wasn’t the priority and as we’ve seen they all focused on the emerging positions, it was a hard work until the end of the transfer window. So, that’s what he have right now. He needs to use him, at least until the mid-year transfer window. He said himself how strong he is in the box and he admires his finishing skills, meaning, he knows his strength. He will and needs to re-design his playbook accordingly. On the other hand, Cenk needs to prove himself. If he can work hard on the pitch and produce goals and assists, there is no way Silva will waste him quickly and it will be a huge relief for all the fans. I just don’t understand the love of pace. Some people have it some doesn’t have. Some people score regardless, some people can’t. Cenk is a great finisher and he has shown it during his limited time so far and I have no doubt he’ll show more. Question is, will it be enough? That’s what we are going to see and discuss during the season. Give him and new transfers time to adapt and get used to their teammates, they’ll all show what they have. Without patience, in every transfer window you’ll be shouting for new transfers which will lead you to the doom. The money is not infinite, even in EPL. I am really pleased with the latest transfers. They arrived a little bit late and it will cause some problems in early season but it will be ok, hopefully.
  2. Oh my god. I've just had 1 busy day after months and look what happened. I missed the fantasy league draft and 4 new signings...
  3. When will it be shut down? How much time left? The team is crying for at least one Centre Back, Seamus' performance is not satisfying at all and Gana - Morgan duo is going to be another suicide. I am not going to judge the team after friendlies but some individual performances are not good enough.
  4. Perfect addition on the paper, I hope it turns out a good one on the pitch too. Funny thing, in my Everton career save in FIFA 18 (where I play as Cenk, lol) he's been signed by Everton and plays perfectly.
  5. Difference is, they start negotiations before transfer window and either completing or giving up in the transfer window. Everton, on the other hand, eh whatever...

Wasn't it streamed? Couldn't find any highlights video, not even on Everton's YouTube channel.
  7. When you click on the thread's name, it takes you to the last read post. If you want to go to a specific page or last page, you need to click on the page number. If it is not the case, maybe there is a bug somewhere.
  8. https://www.sabah.com.tr/spor/futbol/2018/07/16/cenk-tosun-dunya-kupasini-izlerken-aci-cektim Translation incoming... About Domagoj Vida: If Everton was interested, I think they would have asked me for my opinions at least. (as an old teammate or for some insider comments from the club) About Klaassen to Besiktas: They asked me if he is interested in a possible transfer move to Besiktas. I asked him and he said, "I am not interested in moving to Turkey". End of story. About his move back to Besiktas: I am still a new signing for Everton. It's way too early to talk about that. These are the parts of the interview which related to Everton.
  9. Thanks, guys. Definitely, it is not giving an opinion on the team, looks more like a warm-up act before the show.
  10. is it possible to see the highlights? probably 20 min. long, looking at the score.
  11. He can be a very useful rotation player for them especially if he is agreed that role. In that case, very good addition and later they can sell him to a lower reputation league for a good price. Maybe to a Russian side, Turkish side, Chinese etc...
  12. Well, I think Croatia is a great team and of course, Modric and Rakitic are the ones who make the difference for them but England side is looking better and better after many years "as a team". What I fear is the referee. We know him, he is one of the most reputable UEFA referees, in Turkey he is one of the most hated ones. (Doesn't matter if you are Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas or any other team's fan) His judgement being easily affected in the domestic league but he is a way better referee in Europe, still, one thing doesn't change about him. He likes to be under the spotlights. My nation is not competing in the tournament and except Mbappe kid, I don't like France team at all. So, I would love to see it's going home. I hope Mr Cakir will be fair to you guys and best of luck.
  13. I refuse to not get excited about him I think he is not technically gifted, he is not going to be a modern ball-playing defender but will be more like a traditional central defender and a set piece threat, it'll be enough. He'll be good if this transfer happens.
  14. Werner? One of the most overrated forward in the football history. Didn't you see him creeping in Germany group stage matches? He is a coward, constantly avoids getting in contact with defenders, last year he left the game in the first 10 minutes while Leipzig playing against Besiktas in CL declaring that he is uncomfortable with the stadium noise. Puff through him and he'll fly like a foam. In case of an exchange deal, I would rather have Forsberg instead of him. At least he takes responsibility on the pitch.
  15. Turkish media says that he is now in Istanbul for the medical check and will be signed by Galatasaray afterwards. Different opinions on the details, some says it is a transfer move for 8 million pounds, some say Everton couldn't get a work permit for him so it is a loan move.
