  1. He could go and manage Nottingham Forest, twice European cup winners....

    Sunderland (A)

Opposition don't like players who will take a defender on, it leaves them outnumbered and vulnerable to a goal. McGeady will get one in three or four where he beats his man. He also has an eye for a crucial pass. He's a decent player and good acquisition. He's not a footballer like pienaar but he offers more flair.
  3. Well done James, great ovation.
  4. Not a dirty tackle. Could have been but wasn't.
  5. Rom has looked hungry for the first time in a while and He is looking after the ball. Naismith just class there.
  6. Their defence is shite, said that straight from the off. Be good for Ross to get 30 minutes.
  7. McGeady is showing what he can do. He will need a season. He's getting that little bit sharper.
  8. I seen Peter Reid get moved on due to age, and he was a great midfielder. It happens. Ossie is getting a gift that Reid never did in an era where players are stinking rich.
  9. McGeady looks good too, good tempo.
  10. Naismith and Rom linking up superb
  11. Dirty bastards have done Naismith twice
  12. Lukaku looks up for this.
  13. Naisy first touch was brilliant, instinctive shot by Rom, great save to be fair. They look a bit asleep at the back.
  14. one year extension... keeps him until end of next season. I personally wouldn't have extended him beyond the end of this season, legs have truly gone.
  15. Never really got Pearce as a manager. Probably a good number 2 maybe but certainly not manager.
  16. Glad to hear Duncan is showing Rom a few things. Finished Duncans book and its a really interesting read. There is no doubt that he was far more talented than what we seen, he just had a mentality that meant only certain situations got him firing on all cylinders:- Alan Shearer visiting Goodison in 1996 - he marched around Bellefield telling everyone he was going to show him who was the best and he had an awesome game - was unplayable. Against Germany for Scotland - hit crossd bar with an overhead kick and dominated them - Bertie Vogts had never seen anything like him. Rangers signed him for a british record fee afterwards. Man United - say no more Derby games - all started with Ruddock kicking him - don't make him angry Bolton - was given captains armband and scored a hat trick Very frustrating but no doubt could play to a very high level. If Rom can learn of Big Dunc - then we will have a player. I don't doubt Rom "wants to be great" - but has he got the aggression and work rate? Some players are flat track bullies, it appears Duncan was the opposite. Right now his application is said to be incredible - first in and last out of finch farm. Rom could be his finest contribution to Everton.
  17. No - I said he will turn out to be a good signing. At £2m I dont think he will be too bad. P.s stop being an arse. getting tiring.
  18. I'm not overly convinced by sterling either if truth be told. He's better than Lennon yes, but he ain't any where near as good as pundits make out.
  19. Ha ha the expatations will be a bit higher than the ones he got £3.9m a year off us for.
  20. Real ironically just aren't playing that well. At this moment Rodgers must feel smug. On the contrary, this is an opportunity, he's a tit.
  21. Met him last year, really nice bloke. Came into our place to do a talk, pretty inspiring.
  22. Hafnia

    Swansea (H)

I think its the hair and the smug looks he pulls. In fact both of them just fell into a first team managers gig - unjustifiably and started trying to act all Jose Mourinho. Get back to league 2 and earn your stripes.
