  1. 9/5 I bet a fair few quid went on that. Let's be honest it was like usain bolt giving Leon osman a 10m head start in the 100m.
  2. Ffs why no Howard? Don't like titting around with keeper, league cup yeah, not fa cup. Mcgeady will see this as an opportunity to show us what he can do. Think naismith is a good selection in this fixture, lukaku needs benchin.
  3. Yep. To a degree. Passing it around the back on a boggy pitch is stupid. Their pitch will be horrendous. I believe in a footballing philosophy however sacrificing a cup run for principles is not for me. The pitches our players are used to are 20 times what they will be playing on. This is gonna be an old fashioned ugly who wants it more cup game.
  4. Get money on a man city win, in game odds anyone???
  5. Adam Johnson is a brilliant talent on his day. Chalk on his boots and tries to hit the by line. His inconsistency is the problem, with the right manager he will realise his potential.
  6. Ha ha touche http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/thinking-man/10595457/Schadenfreude-is-the-dominant-emotion-for-football-fans.html
  7. Shadenfreude DK, Shadenfreude... Some fans have Stockholm syndrome after 11 years of being stuck with DM... I've got Shadenfreude and I'm proud.
  8. It's gonna be like playing on a bog. I would revert to a direct style, this gonna be tough.
  9. Atta boy Marco!!! Get stuck into the dire greedy self serving ball bag!!!
  10. Good find Dunc, as a naturally lazy and difficult to motivate person I would find it difficult not to be inspired by this man. He may not be a mourinho, shankley, clough, in terms of being a character that draws attention and has pure charisma. He is a cleaner version - someone who is more humble but very wise and is always searching for the right way... He doesn't believe he is always right but he strives to improve to be that person. I often balanced my criticism of Moyes with "if he could evolve he could be great because he has the right work ethic and attention to detail" - this man has that and the natural likable personality with a superb flair for the game. He will improve, he will take us to top 4 and he will manage Barcelona.
  11. Throw the book at him. Never mind what he meant by it... It's what it stands for. Over paid, over indulged smart arse.
  12. Moyes getting credit for playing Januzaj is like giving someone credit for wearing a waterproof jacket when it's raining. The lad was pissing training sessions and running defenders ragged, he was star performer in the pre season tour. He's a rare talent. Now then the £15m man Wilfred Zaha.... Any ideas? If he ain't better than Ashley young then I seriously doubt Moyes judgement. (Thinks back to Barkley sitting on bench watching Neville, heitinga and hitzlesperger get game time instead)
  13. Yes, the lad has got carried away with the hype. I haven't, he is lacking in a few too many areas. Get your head on the game lukaku.
  14. There's a few things to consider in all this:- Moyes left us without any compensation to recruit a manager, he knew well in advance of handing his notice so to speak. He managed us for 4 months knowing he was off to United. Slight risk of industrial espionage??? Speaking of industrial espionage the cheeky prick had the temerity to go back to his former employers and tried to get two players on the cheap, called us for being smaller than United and basically insulted the club and new manager. Moyes in his time here made excuses for his lack of bottle by blaming resource, quality of players etc etc... We seen last night it's not the players, it's the manager. Many fans gave Moyes 11 years of support, despite posters like me being pretty much against him for the last 5 years. It kinda stings to watch someone youve defended throw it all back in your face. So when you see them get a bit of what they deserve it's quite enjoyable. Man united fans on the whole remain one of the most arrogant, smug, and spoilt group of glory seekers. They thought their club could change Moyes, they believe the DNA of the club can get an average manager becoming a class one over night. They believe Everton are so inferior that they can have our top talent when they see fit. Is it wrong to enjoy watching this whole saga unfold? Not at all, it's awesome. I can think of £30m reasons why Moyes has had all the gratitude he is supposed to be receiving.
  15. It was ace!!! Maybe we should bid £15m for Rooney and RVP and state that Moyes should sell for the sake of their careers.
  16. How ace would it be if man city won the quadruple the year United fall outside top 4...,ok treble, we want the fa cup.
  17. Was like watching us fold at wembley against Liverpool.
  18. Absolutely ridiculous the protection Moyes gets... Gary Neville isn't going to turn on poor team management for the very reason his brother is part of it.
  19. Red cafe has just gone into melt down... Although it was so exciting Moyes never got his team going for the win in injury time.
  20. It's not like we don't loan players out is it... Without the loan market less players would get signed because it would be difficult to have elite level clubs being able to manage the squad sizes they have. If it gets us to top 4 then great.
  21. This is what I love about Martinez, he influences people. None of the shite that fergie and Moyes spouted arrogantly proclaiming that all players want to sign for man United... He makes the players feel wanted, that he has a plan for them.
