  1. We had no urgency or flair. If anything we looked a bit leggy. That pitch was a joke, ideal for a team that hoofs it, not ideal for Martinez style of football. That said, they are professional footballers.
  2. David Moyes in neglecting a young talent shocker eh... Always had my suspicions that he is somewhat of a bully with certain talented ones. Barkley for one.
  3. Lucky to get a point, only one team looking to win it... Do we need these teams to wear arsenal shirts in order to play with tempo??? Shite. Needed individuals, we got passengers.
  4. Lets let him stay at old Trafford and develop for a year and then offer £10m plus Steven naismith... After all it's in the best interests of the player.
  5. He would be an asset to most clubs however would I pick him over McCarthy, Barry or Barkley??? The answer is no. It's not bitterness, it's a case of understanding his attributes versus the model that Martinez has built. For me he lacks the mobility, passing range and discipline to be a part of the new look Everton. At times under Moyes he looked a £50m player, but that was because we set up to his strengths.
  6. Mcgeady is going to be class... I've decided. He's gonna be that significant player that we look at when playing the likes of the red shite who we just want on the ball attacking their full backs.
  7. Nah, just don't wanna look at my own and think "never mind"...
  8. All I'm gonna say is I wouldn't stand anywhere near that strike force in the showers... Think of looking for a cubicle or family changing facilities.
  9. I didn't drink 10 pints of premium lager to see this thread... It's not good.
  10. http://www.sos1878.co.uk/everton-news/barry-enjoying-life-at-a-fantastic-club/ Signs are good for a perm deal...
  11. George Green - my guess is by end of next season will have made first team appearance John Stones - my guess is that he will get England cap by end of next season - after world cup the likes of Cahill, Jags will needing to have their successors blooded in.
  12. Point being I don't think he's not an out and out goalscorer imo, more rounded and able to contribute in link up play. Goals being a bonus. Certainly not a Hernandez.
  13. Kone is a good forward, he's not a striker. His value to the team will be seen in a similar way that the likes of wellbeck, long and the likes contribute, he has a bit of skill though and will give us options. £6m is nothing when you see we got more for victor, he's a better player than him.
  14. That is seriously impressive. But...... I know a milkman who is 6ft 4, 14 stone who does 100m in 12 seconds.... His name is Sylvain
  15. What more could he want at this stage of his career than Everton? He will get more games than for any other team at the top end of the table, he will get decent money (maybe £50k) - but if thats his motivation after near 15 years of earning a fortune over getting enjoyment out of playing then so be it... He is known for havin a very effective means of avoiding income tax so he will be financially mega rich. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/223563/Football-stars-save-millions-by-cashing-in-on-tax-loophole More than anything I want him to want to be a part of something big that is happening, he has been a massive part of our season - crackin pro.
  16. I played with a lad who was pretty fat and he was a winger... but boy could he shift - lightning. To be fair i'm no slouch for a 17 stoner myself (sub 14 seconds over 100m) But yeah McGeady look quite a big lad for someone who can move. I agree 2 months will be the minimum. He needs to set up home here, not live out of hotel etc. I look forward to seeing a trickster on the wing.
  17. Nice words niki lad, good luck, I hope you go and stick three past united and show Moyes that he didn't quite destroy you.
  18. He looked like a centre half not a winger though, a lad with his pace aint gonna be anywhere near his right performance levels without an intensive training camp and diet. Quite a big lad for a wide man, excuse the pun.
  19. He looked a good 10 pound overweight at the match.
  20. I bet he kisses the managers arse with a name like that.
  21. Ha ha, he didn't drive a car he flew in on a pig!
  22. Good old bill doing his smashy and nicey impression...."I do a lot of work for charity, but just don't wanna talk about it"
  23. That was a rumour posted on an evertonrumours site... Take with pinch of salt.
