  1. Players like barkley, Rooney and Rodwell force themselves through. They don't get bought through, players like lundstrum, mcelany, Duffy need bringing through - I don't think Moyes does that.
  2. I hope the glazers pull the plug and see united operate in the sub £20m bracket... Cheeky, arrogant, spoilt club.
  3. Can't stand the press, we "must" sell Barkley eh just to allow united to keep their fingertips on the pinnacle... They get on my nerves.

Good 3 points, managed to watch as much as possible while looking after the new arrival - he didn't react when I shouted the house down for Coleman's goal. Love McCarthy, he's the midfielder we've been crying out for. Fellaini was about stature, control and strength. This lad is like an overly energetic dog chasing, nipping and exhausting the opponents. When he gets the ball he knows just what to do. He gives our midfield so much more bite and energy. £13m... Bargain. There aren't any better attacking full backs than Coleman in the prem this season, simple as that. Lets see what surprises RM has in store for January. Based on the signings we have seen so far, bodes well for the future.

Why did we put that out of play???
  6. Lets get another thing considered here... Man United's mucky fingers. Anyone not for a minute think SAF doesn't have a few journos numbers on speed dial? It's not making fergie look good all this Moyes has gone Everton look great. There is an agenda in that article, it's so unbalanced. Many will say I am, but I'm not a journo.
  7. Cheers boys, Harry said the win at old trafford was satisfying to say the least.
  8. My surname is Roberts, that would have been a funny one!
  9. Best memory of 2013 is my little boy Harry being born, 26/12/2013, wife went into labour at 5:30 Christmas morning, born 2:03 boxing day. Shattered but totally elated. He's beautiful and possibly as stubborn as me based on early signs! Hello to toffetalk from Harry! X
  10. All the best lads, cracking bunch on here. I feel like I could happily share a few pints with you all. All the best Pete
  11. A great comment on this is attached below...not mine btw Multiple things wrong with this article. 1) Everton currently have 34 points, 4 points more than they had at the same stage last season. 2) Everton are currently 2 points off 1st place in the league. At the same stage last season, Everton were 12 points off 1st place. 3) Everton have 4 away wins so far this season - the same number they achieved in the WHOLE of last season. 4) You're comparing a home win over Man Utd with an away win over Man Utd, and a home draw with Arsenal with an away draw with Arsenal as like-for-like achievements when they clearly aren't. 5) Moyes never won away at 'Sky 4' club in 11 years at Everton. Martinez won away at Man Utd in his first attempt. 6) Everton have a better goal difference than they did at the same stage last season. 7) Everton have conceded less goals this season, than they had done under Moyes at the same stage last season. Everton are in a far better place under Martinez than they were under Moyes. Author seems to be a Moyes apologist.
  12. Fine head of hair. Like alessandro pistone!
  13. Congrats mike!!! and good luck to your sister Marco. Toffeetalk babyboom
  14. I wouldn't say that, we looked like we needed to mix it up. It was very difficult as they were happy to keep possession not risk much and it was turning into a stale mate. Sometimes we will have to do a direct ball to give them something to think about.
  15. I do think that a 2 week break after Christmas would suit our club more than most though.
  16. Yeah that stuck out like a bull dogs bollocks to me too. Funny Dunc missed that.
  17. Yeah because if you blindly followed everything that came out of the club we would be playing in a flat pack stadium in Kirby, goodison will have failed it's safety certificate years ago, Ross Barkley would still not be ready, Dunc, I accept you bought fully into the Moyes regime and to now say "Blimey Martinez is making Moyes look like a tactical dinosaur" would be some form of defeat to your loyalty. Fact is a fair few of us had him sussed a long time ago. The reality is this... Forget what Moyes did do for us, he nullified it's relevance in his disgraceful behaviour in the summer. Fans went mad at Rooney? What Moyes did was far worse. He was old enough to know better and had questioned players loyalties before doing what he did. Hypocrisy of the highest order. He's a self serving prick who not only engineered a move without the club having any knowledge of it, used his position to take two of our players on the cheap and take the Piss out of the club in the press into the bsrgain. Defend him all you want, dont expect your point scoring "look another really credible person has given Moyes credit" go without response.
  18. Don't mess with the team, this is a banana skin, they are fighting for their lives and should not be judged on league position. Start with a high tempo, pressure them, create and take our chances. Get 2 goals up and make subtle changes if required... We can't afford to take these lightly.
  19. He does look a character, I think the names mentioned have very characteristic traits. So based on these descriptions guess who :- "big teethy smile and plastic looking hair" "Huge bloke, was really good looking despite an injury to his head, had a beany on" "Australian, really friendly and went off on his own" "Really tall, red hair, very nice man" "Bald, big bloke, scouse accent even though he doesn't look English" It so happens when reina posed for a photo, one of the girls in front of him put her arms behind her back and accidentally cupped him... He laughed it off.
  20. Gutted my wife finished for mat leave 2 days before they came to visit, she's a senior staff nurse there. Wanted to her to get a picture with Roberto and the bump just so I can say in a few years "here you are just before being born with the greatest manager in the world" On a side note the club always do a fantastic job at Christmas, wife isn't in to football but the lift they give the kids is tremendous. She said the notable ones who have been very good over the years are Cahill - just goes round like a man on a mission. Moyes! - very polite. Lescott, arteta. And whilst im at it.... pepe reina was a class act.
  21. I hope he turns around and says "I'm not moving anywhere, why should I, nothing beats playing for Everton" - saying and doing it. For me the lad can become zidane esque...yep I've said it again. Come on, argue with me! Zidane was one of the greatest... I know that... That's where this lad can be, I said it a long time ago and I know he can.
  22. He's meant to be a bit nouty, I'm sure that will all stop.
