I might be going mental, but why don't we take one player out of the wall and lay him on the ground behind them so everyone can jump? Might be the wine talking but it makes sense in my head
It's the wine !

They've had a very tough fixture list, unlike us and have a game in hand. They'll be above us at the end of the weekend.
Yep, that Burnley game was quite taxing..........how did that end!
-
May as well have given Martinez another season.
Well we are still above the rs, having spent a fraction of the money.
-
Palace aren't too shabby, they will cause lots of teams problems, saying that, we were shabby.
Not really a stand out player, guess the defence did well against an attacking confident team.
-
Not a great half from us to be honest, palace didn't look troubled, helped by the fact we can't take corners.
Koeman has got work to do, but then he knew that.
Still if we hang on we go second, so we shouldn't complain.Coleman looks up for it, so I'd like to see him brought in to play as often as possible, I can see him crashing one in.

Poor fella , anybody know his address so that I can send him some rotten fruit and a don't get better anytime soon card?
Postman will not thank you for that, he's already delivered loads of get well stuff from Liverpool FC.

Have had quite a few iced teas over the years, grandparents, Aunt and cousins lived (and some still do) in Texas.Famliy also in Washington state, though I think more iced tea was consumed in Texas.
Last year brought back from Bellingham a pretty large quantity of 'crystal light' peach iced tea.Must admit it does need a 'flavor'.
Texans tended to drink it in it's raw state, not for me.
Last time in Washington state, got a few 'Yanks' into hot tea, they said it was pretty good.
They think we drink it on the hour...........but they also think we wear bowler hats and carry umbrellas.

I honestly think the midweek fiasco against Norwich played a huge part in this result
We were woeful in the first half and didn't get much better in the second.
But that first 30 minutes set the tone for the game, the players were all over the place, they looked low on confidence and didn't seem to be at the races at all
Had we played a strong line up and got a convincing win in midweek then I think the players would have been up for this game from the word go
Instead a humiliating defeat in midweek seems to have set the seed of doubt in the minds of some of the players, particularly Barkley whose confidence is fragile at the best of times
Possibly the closest we've come to a reason for the result, but you would think Koeman would have Known how footballers tick, he's spent his whole working life as one and leading them. Can it really be that simple ?
A mixture of the above and Norwich and Bournemouth doing a job on us whilst at the same time some of our big names just havn't performed.
Their doesn't seem to be any easy games these days, if you underperform, you get beaten.
-
Koeman didn't come here on a few weeks contract, he knew we were poor last season and he wouldn't have expected us to change within a few weeks, he'd have been happy with our start as we have been, but as a seasoned pro, he would have been waiting for the first wobble.
He needs to see players first hand at reacting to defeat and criticism before he can really build what HE wants. There will be a few more wobbles yet, he's still getting to know the players.Sounds like he can already see some weak links.

Their mum and dad run a restaurant just up the road from mine, a really good one to be honest. There's been a buzz about the two for years now.

This is Eric 100%
Certainly the right colour shirt !

Norwich got pretty lucky with a couple of shots, their only shots on target, should be a lesson to us, shoot more often from distance.
I think we will get a decent responce today, even though I don't think we've been at our best yet, with a few players not really up to speed, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku being second in the table will give confidence to the lads.
If we do get every one going, with the added confidence, Bournemouth will become the 5th win in a row.
Would love us to score from a corner, just to say we have.I have a problem getting excited when we win one at the moment.
-
Actually, thinking about it, can I vote for my mum?
Certainly.
Hope she's ok, and can play next week !

The sprinklers, they put on a good show at half time.

Too late to take the moral high ground now. You are an easy read Blue.... sort the shit out in your own mind that makes you need to pursue an internet personality that "irritates" you.
Your posts are too sporadic and too specific to indicate anything other than an incessant need to gain a victory over a person who you don't know, will never meet, and will not or should not matter in your life.
Seriously... cut yourself free of it. Your anger is doing nothing to me - it just eats you up and perpetuates the situation even more. This post is unlikely to help matters but fuck it - i thought I'd at least try to put a considered response to how I see your actions on a forum where the majority of genuine posters get on well.
Give it but you can't take it can you.

Not at all. You only need another 15 of you....combine your total IQ and you may actually be able to make a sensible post without the potential of the chimp brain kicking in - resulting in emotional outbursts...
Oh dear the insults !
Means you've lost it.Eric 1 Billy 0.

Thanks Norwich, that's my day at work ruined tomorrow.

So we haven't been totally toothless up front without Lukaku? Interesting...
Steady cat man, you'll be in trouble !
Toothless, your not kidding.
-
Good job we signed a proper backup striker on deadline day.
If Lukaku gets injured we're finished with that clown Valencia up front.
Could the cat be finally making sence !
Penalty area deficiant, even corners aren't a threat.
Brillant play and pull back from Coleman for Lennons chance.
-
poor boy.
Strength and love to his family.

Right. Last warning. Take it to PM.
Are you serious Matt, waste precious moments of life corresponding with that twat on a personal level !
You might as well ban me now.

Seemed to work pretty well, if ref and linesmen mistakes were ruled out, they just won 2-0 away at a team in the top 4.
