  1. Will be interesting to see what becomes of the lad, his head seemed turned a while back, sometimes looked like we were only getting 80% of him at times.

With the Barnsley wedge taken out I'm not sure it's enough for what could be a future England captain, defenders usually get better with age and he's pretty young.

Oh well, move on and find the next Stones.

I wonder if it was all down to money or if Martinez could have got a bloody good squad into the top 4, maybe he and Lukaku would have been more settled.

Martinez and his bullshit tic tac football has a lot to answer to!

  2. 1-4 just like at the start of the 84-85 season. Hopefully followed by us finishing the season in the same place we finished the 84-85 season.

Well they do say it's not how you start it's how you finish, I remember winding up my red brother 3 games in and top of the league 1993-94 season......and we all know how that finished !

Patience is obviously needed and I'm willing to give our new manager at least untill half time against Spurs before we prove to be world beaters.

  3. Ooooohh the anger.... pure anger. You'll be like one of those girls who needed therapy when take-that split up when lukaku gets sold. Not sure who's the most talentless if im honest but hey... fuck it.

Are we on ticket stub contests now? As much as I hated thatcher she made the comment "if you need to tell someone you are a lady then you arent"... same as being an Evertonian. Brummy.

You talk in riddles you idiot, your the one needing therapy with your hate for Lukaku taking over your life.

I hope he goes, because he wants to go, simple as that, but I like many others have spotted potential in him, and that's what you hate......you said he had none!! His control isn't the best, he misses some chances, he get's beaten in the air at times.........BUT, according to many he has POTENTIAL, his sale price will indicate that.

Take-that !........Brummy!........feeling the need to tell the forum you went out and bought a 'new' watch, are you retarded, how old are you?

Ticket stub contest ?......how else can I explain to someone so dim I've seen plenty of Moyes.

And that post was in responce to another pathetic dig at Lukaku........fuck sake let it go, we get the picture, you hate him.

Can see it now.........50 years time a 73 year old Lukaku falls down a flight of stairs, you'll be straight on here saying YOU always said he never had any balance!

Get to the doctors they can help

  4. Something in that statement tells me you never watched strikers play under Moyes.

Lukaku would have lasted 2 minutes under moyes.

    Stop talking like a twat,

I probably went to more games under Moyes than you and live twice the distance, Can you write a fucking sentance without it containing the word Lukaku, under Moyes we have no idea how Lukaku would have functioned. We may well have been more direct, we certainly couldn't have been more negative, surely a benifit to any striker.

Except of course Lukaku.......who, yes we all know you hate, give it a rest Billy!

  5. Watch non-league Kings Lynn at times, played there a couple of times and on the door step.......get really, really pissed off when watching a Brick layer or office worker getting a hundred pounds a week putting in better corners than England and Everton Baines on probably £45000 a week.

How the fuck do full time players not manager to get decent corners in every time!

  6. We had lots of strikers in the last thirty years, they all had the job of scoring goals. Most didn't manage ten per season. Right now I'm not talking about Rom, all the others over their time at Everton did not score anywhere enough goals since probably Linaker.

True, and some of those players had the advantage of a manager who didn't insist in sideways/backwards football.

  7. We pick the right players, something we did very well under Moyes. Lukaku can do one, so can Stones - they are symptoms of the failure of the Martinez project, regardless of disatisfaction with the club's form/manager, their attitude has screamed 'I'm better than this', and that's when players start to drag a team down. Barkley needs to shake his head too, there are younger, hungrier players waiting to turn him into the next Rodwell.

We need a manager in the Klopp/Pochettino mould who will light a fire under our players and demand they bleed blue to win matches. That sort of manager will get the recruitment right.

Symptons of the failure of the Martinez project.........Lukaku and Stones, add to that Barkley and we've had a sad couple of seasons.

    "The Martinez project"

How did he get away with it ? I've been watching some great games from the 70's on You Tube, if anyone had asked some of those players to keep passing backwards they would have got laughed out of the club.

Martinez asking Lukaku to take the pens was another disaster.

  8. It will be worth him going just to hear less from you to be honest. What shirt will Romelu FC be wearing next year?

Martinez like anyone who 'does their best for Everton' gets my support even if things don't go so well. Maybe that's my issue with Rom.

    Ta ra.

The Bullshit meter will still be on when he's gone, so I guess I'll never be far from you.Like a stalker......like you are with Lukaku

  9. The sport he's in and the age he's at he shouldn't be carrying that weight. Yes he was a big lad when he was playing but it just doesn't go down well with me. Get the weight off look more presentable then maybe he'll be taken seriously

He'll be taken seriously if he wins football matches, I know let's not have an old manager who's had a new hip, not a good image if he limps. What about a really short guy! what if opponents take the piss out of him that could hurt our feelings.

Why don't we get a fit bloke in, smart, good with the press, nice brown shoes, but can't buy a fucking win, unless we get lucky.

Unsworth was massive as a lad, think I remember a team photo wher he was sitting next to Barlow, his legs were 4 times bigger.

Big man, big heart maybe........maybe 'big' respect from the players, we don't know do we.But why write him off because he's a big unit.

More than likely won't get the job anyway.Let's hope the new manager keeps him at the club, he could do us a lot of good.

  10.

I get it, you like Rom....it's the only time we see you. Your name isn't Jordan or Roger lukaku is it?

There are plenty of people who rate Lukakus potential, that's why Everton will more than double what we paid for him, you said you'd sell him for less than we paid to get him off the pay roll  , good job you don't have anything to do with the club! (yes you did say this)

You were also one of the last on here to realise/admit Martinez was out of his depth, but then you were a big fan of his, so maybe, just maybe your judgements not that good!

I don't get on here much, pretty busy with the real world, you should try it..........yes I did like Rom at his best, I like all Everton players, I would never insult them how you did Lukaku early days, someone really should dig some of those posts out............2nd thoughts better not or this Bullshit thread will rumble on.

We get it, you hate Lukaku and you will continue to stalk him through the papers, on the internet, every single air shot he makes you will upload onto here. When he retires from football you will be there!.........get some help.

  11. You speaking for everyone again Mark?

Lukaku had my backing despite being a sulky sod who decided when he was going to put it in, the fact that I didn't rate him didn't matter, play for the badge and you get the support.

You need to learn to separate Everton from the average football club. "Those who understand need no explanation, those who don't understand don't matter."

I have some very bad news for you, I'm afraid Everton this season WERE a very 'average' football club and last season.

Every football fan believes THEIR club is special, I know Peterborough fans who follow thier team all over the country a West Ham mate spends most of his money following them up and down the country, he thinks the Hammers are special, better than average etc.

To us Everton are special.........but not to Lukaku, we are just his pay masters, he can get more money playing for probably (and when measured against the past couple of seasons) a better team, if he's a sick of the tactics that Everton have employed under Martinez as I am who can blame him.

So, he didn't roll up his sleeves and get stuck in, yeh him and many others.Football has changed with all the stupid money kicking about, people are different, players are different, loyalty is almost gone.

Did you want Lukaku to pull up his shirt to reaveal a 'once a Blue always a Blue' tee shirt, like your hero Rooney !!.......oh wait, oh yes Wayne left for a better club and more money and that was after being born and brought up a Blue.Lukaku had probably never heard of Everton, why be loyal?

You say Lukaku 'had your backing' rubbish, your insults and hate tempered during the times he was smasing in his goals, you reverted to type when it dried up, pretty much alongside Evertons form.

I agree with you he shouldn't be pushing so openly for a move, but I can live with it, Evertons replacement for Lukaku might well do the same to his existing club, our fans will say, isn't it great a player wants to come to our 'special' club.It happens.

You need to get over him and hope other teams spotted the talent you couldn't see, so they pay us stupid money.

Then we can all move on.

  12. Haf, I was trying to talk about what the club could do going forward and you still want to bring up the same old argument, even when no one is having the argument with you. Taking the piss now. We've all see the quotes, we all agree he needs to go, hence why I've been trying to steer the conversation towards the future but you insist on going over old ground. You keep saying the same thing over and over, even when people are agreeing with you. You won't get people saying he isn't a great player because most of us think he is, I don't get why you keep peddling it. We all agree with you that he has to leave. What else do you want from everyone? Are you happy to keep posting the same thing that we've lot listened to for years? Now, more than ever, people are agreeing with half of your point of view. I don't get what you want. I'm going to start a new thread, about possible replacements, bring up this old crap and I'll just keep deleting it.

    spot on StevO,

Thing is, he has a problem, no matter how many times Lukaku fucks up on the pitch, opens his mouth off the pitch, he has proved he is worth £50/60million.Now let's be honest a fair chunk of that is 'potential', but that's what people often take a gamble on.

For chunks of this season he has been average at best, along with every other player and the manager. But if he'd been as shit as some would have you believe, then we would be looking at around the £20million mark....... if that.

The people who said Lukaku had 'potential ' were right...........SOME were wrong!!.

Talking about his poor end of season form, his poor conduct in talking about wanting out is just too easy.Everyone can see it.But he will continue to stick the knife in because Lukakua DID prove him WRONG.

He will never stop, even when Lukaku is long gone.

I'm disappointed in Lukaku for how this has all ended, though I lay some blame at the feet of Martinez. It all could have been so different.I'd have liked Lukaku to stay, under a good manager, better tactics etc, but that's probably not going to happen.

So, move on lad, make us some big money and good luck.

  13.

A big regret of mine is that it took me so long to find my home with Everton. But I'm proud to be a blue now.

Yeh, you took your time getting here Keith!.........................but you do know now you are here, you can never leave.

Oh, you can try, after a bad defeat or a bad season, you can say " I think I'll take a break "................usually lasts about 24 hours.

  14.

he was instrumental in 2 of their goals last week. watch some replays and his run created the space and then he got an assist on one as well. for 6m what did they expect? ronaldo?

Well, I think it was 8.5million, and I think they were looking for a bit more than a couple of runs and an assist !

He's probably saving up a hatrick for Saturday.

  15. Can only hope the players/club give the home fans a performance to wipe clean some of the rubbish served up at home this season.

Norwich City season ticket holder tells me Naismith has been a disaster signing, wonder if we'll see him Saturday!

Blood some youngsters and put some pride back into this club.

  16. Watching Everton is tedius, boring and painfull.....................................so, so sad to have to admit it!

It's been creeping in for a couple of seasons, the odd good result to paper over the obvious cracks.Major work needed......gutted.

  17. Caught the match on replay.... may as well have stuck big dunc on because despite being years past it and unfit he'd have offered more.

Yep, while the rest of the team were just fucking brilliant !

Get a grip, you must be the only Blue that's bitter he had a purple patch pushing his price up! Everyone has seen him lose his form.....amongst many who've never really shown any this season.Other than the cups, it's been another rubbish season.Lukaku has at least at times put a decent shift in, hence his price increase and the fact he's finished top of this forums MOM ratings.

He made you look a twat at times, get over it.
