We sold Stones for £47.5 million and spent £12 million on Williams, £7.1 million on Gueye, £750,000 on Stekelenburg and about £30 million on Bolasie which roughly comes to a total spend of £50 million shall we say? So after selling Stones we've spent £2.5 million.... Very underwhelming and a standard transfer window for Evertonians!

One thing that's for sure is if one of our players doesn't give it his all then they'll be out of the club. I expect a big clear out during the next 12 months including the likes of Oviedo, McCarthy, Barry, Kone, Cleverley, McGeady. He won't put up with average players.

Agree about the ones you've mentioned but there's plenty of keepers out there we could buy. Why not test Leverkusen with a 20 million bid for Leno? Why not test Koln with a 10 million bid for Horn? Cilessen at Ajax? Sirigu at PSG? There's 4 there and they're all massive upgrades on what we currently have. We don't even have to break the bank for them. We massively need a proper keeper and I'm not confident in Stekelenburg as our first choice if that's the case.

I know. They've included Rodriguez there who hasn't made a single appearance. They're probably bored and looking for anything to write about.

His delivery is top notch. I'd take him as a left back and left sided midfield cover as he's better than Oviedo. No way at £20 million though. £8 million at best.

I like Vertonghen as well, think he's a top quality CB and a very good LB as well so naturally a huge loss for you. I like the sound that Lukaku likes to attack as it will leave space in behind him. Just noticed that Denayer is on loan at City so I wonder what will be his future next year with Guardiola. Yeah, a lot of injuries/suspensions for you at the back which can only be positive for us however you've got such depth that you've still got good players coming in. Injuries like that for us and we'd be done for. Luckily and I cross everything here, we haven't had an injury to a major player with Ashley Williams being fit for tomorrow.

Bunch of overhyped and overpaid dicks. How arrogant was the commentators and pundits though? One question at half time was "Would you drop Joe Hart for the quarter finals?" Did they not know you were trailing 2-1 at the time? Unbelievable.

Really can't see Wales having the quality to beat Belgium at this stage.

I love him. Being the most expensive player ever and playing for Real Madrid he could easily be a bit arrogant and big headed - but he's not. He loves playing for Wales and it's fantastic. Quite opposite of what we had with Giggs. Brilliant player but didn't play any friendlies or seem that passionate about his country. 
Less than 5 years ago we were ranked 117th and now we're in the quarter finals of the Euros. Coleman deserves massive praise for the work he's done. Gary Speed started the process of transforming the team and Coleman has done a wonderful job.
I agree about Bale actually not playing that well but then again he's scored 3 and has 1 assist in 4 games so he's had a huge influence. That's what world class players do. Ramsey has been terrific and so has Joe Allen. James Chester and Ben Davies have also been sublime. I was lucky enough to have a ticket for the match on Saturday and it was just surreal seeing us there. Belgium will be incredibly tough but we've had the upper hand in recent matches so they'll know what we're capable of. No fear, enjoy the occassion and go for it. Come on Cymru!

Was supposed to be leaving work at 12:10(I'm a primary school teacher) but now have to stay and watch the match with the children in my class which I'm nervous about as I tend to swear a lot during football matches. I swear in a typical Everton home to West Brom type of game so imagine what I could be like in and England vs Wales game. If we score I'll have to try and hold it together somehow. Not ideal by a long way but at least I'll get to see it I suppose...

Ha!! By twat do you mean by a few clear goals or just England will win? It will be close. There will be one goal in it and with Bale in our team I'm confident he'll be the difference. It would just kill any excitement we as fans had for the forthcoming season. Moyes had 10 years here ffs, it's not like he has unfinished business here. He was stale after about 8 years let alone starting his second bloody stint here. We'll be an absolute laughing stock if this happens. My mates who are Utd and Liverpool fans were always taking the piss when I wanted Martinez out saying that the only one we'd replace Martinez with is Moyes. It would be am embarrassing appointment and yet again show the lack of ambition we have.
 
In an analogy terms, imagine going out with a girl for 10 years. You haven't got much money but nevertheless she's a solid girl who never lets you down and you think you've done very well for yourself. Yeah, she might be Scottish and ginger but she's a nice girl. Then, after some deep thinking, you aggressively cross her name out with a permanent marker and think to yourself 'I'm better than her'. She even disrespected you when she went with her new bloke. He finished with her. She moved to Spain and again found another bloke. As if she could get a tan, she was ginger. It was never going to work. He also finished with her. Then she flew back to the UK and now she wants more of you cause she's heard you've got some money. But you won't be fooled.... I hope.
