  1. I would normally agree with you but its not often a keeper like Butland becomes available, especially at a knock down price . So I just think if there is anyway we can do this deal then we should strike while the iron is hot
  2. Well if you would have asked me before the weekend who I wanted in round 5 I would definitely have said Oldham
  3. Of cause he could have sacked him, especially after we finished 17th in 2004. He wasnt on big bucks back then and he would have been 3 years into his contract so it would have cost peanuts to sack him You are quick enough to criticise BK when he fucks up, and there have been plenty of occasions where you would be fully justified in doing so, but in true BU fashion you bury your head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge anything he gets right
  4. Hmmmmm So you are completely ignoring the fact BK stuck by Moyse in his earlier days when the club finished 15th and 17th in 2001/02 and 2003/04 and supporters were calling for his head?

  6. Incidentally Darron Gibson was sat in amongst the Everton fans today
  7. Probably not and its a credit to BK that he stuck by him
  8. I agree I dont think it was a defensive move at all and I can understand the rationale behind it, as you say it freed Ossie up and all of a sudden he started to look like a player again. It was just a case of him prefering Felli up top instead of Vellios. I was more mystified by the decision to bring on Maggie ahead of Oviedo
  9. I must admit I dont get why he didnt bring Oviedo on, lol do find it funny though that Moyes is now being critiscised for giving youngsters a go

  11. Official Everton✔@Everton Bolton say the game will be on but they are appealing for volunteers to help clear pathways around the stadium #EFC #BWFC Confirmation from the OS in last couple of minutes, :-)

  13. I cant see what all the fuss is about myself He has said he will sit down after the transfer window to discuss it and I cant see him not signing. He has intimated on more than one occasion that he sees his long term future ay Goodison so I really dont see anything to worry about Maybe the delay until after the window is to ensure the board dont try and force him to sell any of his top players and if so good on him
  14. Lol looks like that £5M fee wasnt so bad after all
  15. I would be gutted to see either player leave but if push came to shove then its a no brainer, it would have to be Felli As has already been said we would get twice as much money foe Felli and he would be easier to replace I have never seen Oviedo play at LB, apart from a brief cameo in the last round of the cup, so I have no idea whether or not he could cut it in that position in the Prem Also if loaning out Barkley has the desired effect then we could already have Felli's replacement at the club, ok its not like for like but I just feel with the inroduction of Barkley, if he fulfills his potential, and the best part of £30M to strengthen the side might not be all bad
  16. I think when everybody is fit again Piennar , Osman and Mirallas will continuously swap posittons during a game, much like they did earlier in the season
  17. Im glad your in the minority,. That attitude reminds me of the Peter Reid/Man City scenario where he had them in the top 6 but the fickle fans drove him out because they thought they ere better than they actually are and as a result the nosedived straight out of the division I think Moyes is by far and away the best manager that we could hope for at this point in time , and I also think that a lot of our players are loyal to him. ie lose Moyse lose them I just dont buty this Moyes is negative/too conservative idea. When we had everyone fit at the start of the season we were probably playing the best attacking football in the country, if not Europe. Moyse has a ridiculously small squad to chose from and injuries and suspensions were always going to cause us problems ( and get the Moyse bashers crawling out from under their stones at the slightest hint of poor form) I still think this has been a good season so far and my only gripe is the customary capitulation in the Capital One Cup, Im gutted that he felt the need to throw the towel in by playing the kids at Leeds, especially when you see Bradford City in the final For me David Moyes has all the atributes to be a top boss, the only unproven quantity is what he would be like with money
  18. One word, confidence I still think he will come good again
  19. I thought Felli just pipped it ahead of Vic and Howard, everybody else was absolutely Naismith
