  3. I dont think he should be in our starting XI but I do beleive that he still has a paert to play as a squad player, especially given how small our squad is
  4. Anthony Isom-Russo ‏@AntonioGio77 Contacted by Everton FC, Waiting on more info in the coming days as to when im headed to England. Claims to be on his way over for a trial
  5. Coleman for me the rest were all poor especially Felli

  8. Yeah I dont understand why they always seem to show the live games first on MotD, although to be fair they were probably the best 2 games yesterday
  9. Lol Thats swung it for me, if pete doesnt rate him he must be good!
  10. Sagna was there for the taking : Piennar and Baines did take him Pienaar flopped:. Whilst I dont think he was quite back to his best I thought it was a good performance from him, and a million miles from " flopped" we could have been down to 10 men because of him: You listen to Alan Hansen too much, that would have been an absolutely ridiculous decision, and can I also point out that had he not made that tackle then we wouldnt have equalised He should have won a pen: Wtf???? Surely the fact a pen wasnt awarded was down to the Ref ? Someone like Kilbane would have got the job done yesterday: Would you honestly have Kilbane over Piennar???
  11. Had you have said that about any of the last few games then I would have had to agree however from last nights game I would have to say its just a case of you having your Piennar blinkers on again

  13. Pete0 we get it , we all know you dont like Piennar
  14. Could have been any from Piennar, Jags, Felli or Baines but I opted for Piennar just because it was good to see him getting back to his old self I was also pleased to see jelavic put a decent shift in, but its just not happening for him at the moment
  15. I dont think that is the case . It obviously gives you a better idea of things like was it a penalty or not, or did the ball cross the line or not but thats about it. How often do the cameras zoom in on the player with the ball, can you see another players movement off the ball then? Would you be happy if we never scouted any players and just signed them from what you see off the box?

  17. Oviedo did well against Norwich so yes I do think that is a possibility I think Vellios proved last year that he isnt ready to be starting games for us, I would rather see him go out on loan to see if he can cut it I would be tempted to give Mirallas a go up front if Jelavic's poor form continues
  18. Thats just another ToffeTalk myth, surely the fact that Everton have been playing some fantastic football and have created more chances and had more shots than any other team in the top flight of any European League makes a mockery of that
  19. Moyes had to pick the only 11 senior players that were fit/free from suspension today Yes it was a poor performance but Moye wasnt at fault, its the fact that we have no strength in depth that is the problem He was stripped of the services of Fellaini, Mirallas, Gibson, Hibbert, Neville, Coleman and Anichebe today so we were pretty much down to the bare bones, who is it that you think Moyes should have started with or utilised????
  20. I thought Oviedo was decent but Baines was comfortably the best player on the pitch today We are carrying too many passengers at the moment, Jelavic and Piennar in particular, and it highlights how weak our squad is that these players are still starting every game. Poor performance by Everton but yet again I thought the Refereee has cost us points
  21. Spot on, Beattie was rotting away in Southamptons reserves when Moyes took a gamble on him, ok it didnt work but I dont remember many Evertonians complaining when we signed him AJ ( who I might add we made a decent profit on ) became a regular member of the England squad under Moyes so I would hardly say he couldnt have done too badly. When you think that the majority of Johnsons goals in the Prem were from the penalty spot and he couldnt buy a pen for us then I dont think his record at Everton was too bad in comparison
  22. Well said son! More shots than any team in the top flight leagues in Europe, god knows how many times weve hit the woodwork this season. I would love to see what would happen if we did play attacking football!
