  1. I would disagree that AJ was a dud, he was exactly what we needed at the time and he did a good job for us
  2. Hmmmmm I dont think its David Moyes who needs to get a grip
  3. I think people need to get a little bit of perspective here. The first half was as good a performance as Ive seen from an away side all season, we totally dominated the game. Ok we didnt take our chances but if the officials had been anywhere near competent we would still have been out of sight by halt time and should have been playing against 10 men as the handball denied a definite goal and the defender should have walked. Reading came at us in the second half and I think you would expect that from any home side, especially one thats fighting for their lives. A lot of our lads played a full 90 minutes in midweek internationals plus Hitzlsperger was starting his first game in god nows how long and I think they just ran out of steam. The problem is we had nobody on the bench who we could bring on to freshen thins up Yes it was a poor second half but I dont think it quite warrants the reaction of some of our fans. The BU must be overjoyed I bet they are planning their next march down County Road and putting the clown suit into the cleaners as we speak
  4. Hitzlsperger for me , even though he did give away the soft free lick that started our downfall

  7. I thought Jelavic was awful. There was one moment at the end of the first half where he battled well and he took his goal well but apart from that he was never in the game. Hopefully this goal will get him up and running again
  8. Lol I needed to, I was at the game and I had completely erased the fourth goal from my memory! I was convinced we won that match 3-1

  12. Lol Have you seen Ryan Giggs' record for Wales?
  13. http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2012/10/luis-suarez-stamp-distin-mirallas-hamann-says-he-should-have-been-sent-off.html Refreshingly honest account from some Kopites

  15. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/9641254/Liverpools-Steven-Gerrard-mocks-Everton-as-a-long-ball-team-who-play-like-Stoke.html "Everton were very direct and were getting on the second balls. The plan in the second half was to go 3-5-2 and try to stop the long balls coming in." Ha ha tactical genius, lets pack the midfield that will stop them playing long balls!
  16. Match stats do not exactly support Steven Gerrard's claim as they show Everton enjoyed more possession than Liverpool... @philmcnulty 56.2%-43.8%), made more passes (400-314), had greater passing accuracy (78.5%-76.8%) played proportionally fewer long passes (13.8%-14.6%). @philmcnulty

  18. You can also add to that the fact that it was never a free kick in the first place
  19. I agree with Haf , dont worry I am trying not to make a habbit of it! Yes Naismith scored but it was his only contribution to the game, he looked way off the pace and completely devoid of ideas. Wether thats because he just needs games under his belt or not I dont know but I think apart from Villa away he has been really poor all season I think Jelavic is out of sorts at the moment as well, this season if he gets the ball inside the box he seems to come alive and I end up cheering a goal however if he gets it anywhere else on the pitch it normally results in a groan
  20. Thats what really pissed me off most about Marina yesterday. How on Gods green earth did Sterling make it past the half hour mark let alone the full 90 minutes. He was guilty of 5 bookable offences and somehow managed to stay on the pitch. It was as though the Ref was looking for the slightest excuse to get his card out everytime an Everton player commited a foul yet he seemed to have completely forgotten what he had in his pocket when a Liverpoo player comitted a foul If Marouane Fellaini had commited any of the fouls that Sterling or Suarez did there is no way he would have stayed on the pitch It was an absolute disgrace how they were allowed to effectively kick Mirallas out of the game and yet we ended up with more bookings
