  1. Howard Neville - Heitinga - Duffy - Oviedo/Garbutt Vic/Gueye - Hitz - Felli - Oviedo/Vic Barkley Vellios I make it 2 from our best XI , Howard and Felli Maybe Im being pessimistic but I have just seen Everton humiliated too many times down the years by lower league sides. There havent really been any big shocks so far in this round and we are the only ones left to play so thats not making me feel any easier! I think that unless any of our best players asre carrying knocks then they should start, lets not treat this as a pre-season friendly, lets get the game won before we start worrying about giving the fringe players a leg stretcher
  2. If that is the line up I fear for us I will be extremely pissed off if I get all the way down there on Monday night only to find the club arent taking the competition seriously Garbutt is injured btw so he wont be available

  4. Osman certainly looked like he needed a breather against Newcastle, but with Gibbo and Mirallas already out I would be worried where the creative spark would come from if Ossie and Piennar are rested
  5. Can I just say Shrewsbury Town! They were relegated from the Football League they were that bad and they still deservedly dumped us out of the Cup Leeds United this season proved that our squad isnt strong enough to start making wholesale changes and stil expecting a decent performance
  6. I think this could be a tricky game and I hope Moyes doesnt tinker with the line up I want us to put out as strong a side as possible, if we are then 3-0 at half time great bring a few of the young lads on then. I certainly dont want to see Mucha anywhere near the starting XI If the likes of Duffy and Barkley need to be starting games then send them out on loan, dont jepordise our cup run just to give them minutes on the pitch.
  7. The problem is Heitinga is getting torn apart by very average centre forwards At Wigan he was giving Kone all the time and space in the world to run at him and he just couldnt live with him, Carlton Cole was doing the same to him at West Ham and it happened at Newcastle. He seems to be standing off too much then getting turned inside out as a result. He has also had a bad habit of ducking under crosses which cost us against Norwich at home, he did the same against Spurs I think it was when they him the post and did the same at Newcastle a couple of times
  8. Thats probably why your not the manager and Moyes is, Heitinga is a liability this season and you think the obvious thinng to do is play him more
  9. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/01/05/how-could-he-choose-china-ahead-of-everton-and-sunderland-former-psg-boss-slams-guillaume-hoarau/76404/
  10. Why only the last 3 games, especially as you are blaming Jags for both Chelsea goals? I dont want to get into an argument as we obviously see football totally differently but on one hand your saying its Moyse's fault for not playing him more and on the other your saying its Moyse,s fault for playing him at all. Kone has pace yes, but so do most Premiership sides these days All three of our CBs have had dips in form but Jags is the man who knits it all together, he is the talker / organiser even when he isnt on top form himself he still offers something more than the other 2. Even with Distin, I always think there is a mistake waiting to happen, but even when he isnt at it he still offers pace and power and is good in the air not to mention he is left footed so offers more balance. In an ideal world an inform Jags and and inform Hietinga would be superb but Johnny has been woeful this season. He is getting raped every time he steps on the pitch, he is costing us goals left right and centre. Howard rightly took stick for the Norwich goal but what was Hietinga doing ducking underneth the cross? There was a time when he was dominating the likes of Drogba and Rooney but this season he is getting bullied by the likes of Kone, Carlton Cole and Grant Holt which just isnt good enough. All players have dips in form and I dont think Johhny H has become a bad player overnight but the fact is he isnt good enough this season for Everton Football Club, Duffy would be a better shout, hense why i think his head has gone and he wants a move
  11. Agree with all that, I also think Gibson is a big miss as he usually sits just infront of the back four and sweeps up a lot of stuff before it gets that far and we dont seem to have anybody else that can do that, apart from Felli who is deployed elsewhere these days
  12. Lol talk about manipulating stats to say what you want! Worse! He is getting turned inside out everytim he plays, Wigan away when Kone ripped him to pieces for 45 minutes and Coles goal at West Ham spring to mind. I love Johnny H, well last seasons version anyway, but he is unrecogniseable from that player this season I hope Im wrong but he just looks like a player that has had his head turned and wants away so I would be surprised if he is here this time next month
  13. Is that an idea for a new thread or are you calling Haf a spammer?
  14. Good to see the general consensus in here now seems to be that Moyes is a good manager again! Doesnt seem that long ago that it was Moyes out Coyle / Rodgers / Holloway / Lambert, or which ever other manager had won 3 on the trot, in
  15. Im a proud Evertonian that finishes most of my tweets with COYB, can I have £60k a week please? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2013/01/04/howard-kendall-john-heitinga-not-reliable-enough-for-central-defence-at-the-moment-100252-32543123/ Seems Kendall doesnt rate him thios season either

  19. We couldnt afford any of the Chelsea players or Walcott but out of the realistc ones I wouldnt mind Frimpong or Brunt as free/nominal fees. Wouldnt touch that Mucha though cos he is proper poo!
  20. https://twitter.com/search?q=%23hoarau He has supposedly left PSGs training camp in Doha to fly to England to speak to a team, beleived to be Everton
  21. I think its basically down to anybody who is fit starts
  22. You are quite correct we are in a new calendar year however that is irrelevant! http://www.fifa.com/...t_en_122007.pdf "Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs"
