  1. http://www.liverpool...99623-32528228/ "Moyes is refusing to ask the Goodison board to loosen the purse strings this month in an attempt to secure a Champions League berth. People know our situation here,” said the Everton manager. “There’s no point me asking for something that we have not got so I wouldn’t do it."
  2. "Although Marouane Fellaini returns from suspension, Darron Gibson will miss the next month with a thigh problem while Phil Neville, Tony Hibbert and Kevin Mirallas also sit out the trip to the North East and Steven Pienaar, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman are major doubts" Not good news that Piennar and Baines are major doubts for tonight now as well
  3. Wanyama is a great shout, he is exactly what we need right now
  4. A calendar year spans 2 seasons so that would make no sense what so ever http://www.inbrief.co.uk/football-law/footballers-transfer-in-season.htm "Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club" If that article is correct it does look like he can play for us though "However, this does mean that a football player is free to represent a total of three different clubs in any league in the world over the course of one season"

  6. Why? He has already said that he doesnt want to be sat on the bench and that he wants more playing time and he knows he is nowhere near our starting XI when everyone is fit. Ok Gibbo is out again for at least a month so that may give him a chance but if we bring in Ofoe Didgimethingy that will surely push him down the pecking order again. I hope he does stay as he is a decent squad player and we need as many bodies as we can get at the moment

  8. I cant beleive there are people on twitter complaining about this news
  9. I thought it was a straighy choice between Osman and Piennar again and I thought Ossie just shaded it I also thought it was a really good performance all things considered and we were really unlucky not to get anything from it

  11. At his age if they offered him a longer contract he would probably take it
  12. Lol making subs before a ball has even been kicked??
  13. Heitinga is undoubtedly the best of our CBs when he has the ball at his feet but he is not in the same same league as Jags as a defender. He is a character and seems to get the fans on his side, but he is always banging on about wanting to leave and some of his performances this season havent just been poor they have been abysmal. West Ham away stands out and Wigan away was even worse. For me if he wants to leave and someone is willing to pay then let him go I cant see us getting Lescott but if I could choose between the 2 it certainly wouldnt be Johnny

  15. I think Jags is comfortably our best CB and I would put him in ahead of Johnny or Distin any day of the week Yes he had a dip in form but at the time the other 2 were not exactly pulling up trees were they?
  16. Chelsea are scoring goals for fun at the moment and we cant buy a clean sheet, so I see a 1-0 win to us!
  17. More chance of signing Ronaldo! and that was before Rooney got injured

  20. I would go along with that, Jags isnt a RB and Johnny just looks like he is going through the motions until the January transfer window
  21. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2012/12/21/100252-32471105/ “While PGMOL chiefs are very happy with officiating so far this season, cautions are down, particularly those for dissent, but the one issue that stands out is holding and blocking at set pieces." Are they taking the piss?
