I would lean more towards toxic. It is what their fans have done to the song, as it is no more than a symbol of a bunch of bitter blind bigots now. If it's just a song you want to express solidarity, there is many more. This is not a Liverpool FC tragedy alone, they are Merseyside family members first and foremost, it should represent the 96 of them and their families - who happen to support both sides.

Why should we sing YNWA? Their fans sung that to show their support to Suarez, it shouldn't even be allowed at their ground anymore. - There are more fitting songs - We could wear a kit with the Liver bird emblem in the Everton crest / Purple kit - the fans stay until the 96th minute and clap for the 96 souls. - a traditional minutes silence - the families do a lap of honour (they've only got the truth up to now, we're still waiting for the justice) - a mini derby Any of these would be more fitting. An I'd imagine a lot of people will have the scarfs to show their support. Everton fans will show their affection, we don't need an anthem to prove it.

General Weekend/Midweek Football

Lovely finish from Dikagoi for Palace. -
One of the vids on the OS mentioned he's had a little knock, and that he'll be predominantly in the reserve squad this season. I can't find the vid, but had a quick look at the U21's and today was his first time back in the team.

I may come across as a bit petty, but I feel that Hillsborough disaster has affected both sides of Liverpool equally. The families are 50-50, YNWA takes away from that imo, it takes away from the blue half who also lost their family and friends that day, and with previous experience of non-scouse Liverpool fans trying to inform me of that day it seems even their own fans don't realise that. Purple kits like with Rhys would be a good idea, something that represents the City as a whole.
-
No from me about YNWA, dreadful song and nothing to do with Hillsborough. Blackbird would be more fitting. A tradition minutes silence or everyone staying till the 96th minute and clapping would be a better gesture.

Zoo, don't give him any reasons. He'll be disgruntled at that smiley... Why is the mouth a straight line? I remember when mouths had little curves in the corner, but maybe?... because when I was young when kids could play on the street and there was no foreigners we had something to smile about. But at last came a knock, and I thought of the door with no lock to lock and the country let them all in, not that matters now that they all have my phone number. So the curves are no more now we all have nothing to smile about . Also did I forget to mention something completely irrelevant and pointless to the topic, maybe a nice article I've just looked up on Wiki? Yellow jelly was invented after an accidental experiment by a pork scratching connoisseur under cooking a batch of the Black Country's finest in a pint of Guinness, then letting them dry off on the radiator on one fine day of 60% humidity and 99 degrees Fahrenheit or as you idiots would say 37 degrees Celsius what a stupid system.

Possible line up looks very weak defensively considering we play down the left, but knowing Pardew he will have learned his lesson from last year and just come here with strict instruction for his players to park the bus. I'd put money on them getting a sending off if we get into a good tempo. OS numbers feature has a fact that we get a pen every 4 games against Newcastle at Goodison, looks like that could be a banker. -------------Harper Anita Taylor Williamson Santon Arfa Cabaye Bigirimana Gutierrez ----------Ba Cisse

You just ask that anyone with a foreign name leave the country and play their trade elsewhere.

I think we people with the second name Kane should be posting their shite on a Southern forum. Maybe not Chelsea or Arsenal, but more the Spurs or West Ham.

Bryan Oviedo @Bryan_Oviedo Thanks to those who write #welcomeoviedo will fight to death for this shirt ; ) #Puravida

Scum Headline: The Real Truth followed by 4 bullet points on the front page 1. Cops smeared Liverpool fans to deflect blame 2. 41 lives could have been saved, says new probe 3. We are profoundly sorry for false reports 4. Families of 96 victims call for prosecutions That is not even close to an apology, it's bewildering that they think they can gloss over their propaganda and lies and get away with it, again. That or the morons think reports is a synonym for lies, cunts. http://www.politicshome.com/uk/article/61277/the_guardian_wednesday_12th_september_2012.html -
Happiness - 7.8 rating on imdb: The lives of many individuals connected by the desire for happiness, often from sources usually considered dark or evil. I was hoping for something similar to Magnolia, I was very wrong Very disturbing 18+ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDLnwS8JE2k

Reading that they have struggled to find out much from parliament, due to a lack of openness from the conservatives. Cameron himself loads all the blame on the police, when it's took 23 years and he and those in power before him have rejected the reviewing of the Hillsborough case. He as the government should be taking equal responsibility. Before at least these five orders are resolved they shouldn't even consider repenting. I've already heard people on the radio saying Cameron is brave for apologising and it's time to move on.. What a joker, if he was brave he'd of helped the J96, not apologise once his backs to the wall after the evidence is released. We find out today that 41 people may have been saved and bell ends are saying thats enough closure. - A genuine apology to the families of the departed and a full truthful explanation so the families can have full closure. - A complete dismantle of the Scum - An overthrow of the Conservatives power and a complete overhaul of how the government is run likewise for the media. - Full access of knowledge to the public - The stigma associated with being scouse demolished -
New ticketing commercial deal with StubHub
pete0 replied to Barney Tabasco's topic in General Everton Discussion
Just had a look on there for the Newcastle game http://www.stubhub.co.uk/everton-tickets/everton-liverpool-goodison-park-17-9-2012-4111122/ most tickets are less than or equal to face value. Pay through paypal, pretty quick no messing about making the order and a few good seats on there. I had tried the OS the other week, but I need to phone them up as I've forgotten my account number. It's a joke that they don't just email you it, it's only 2012 ffs -
Well what response would you expect some from Liverpool to get when they go and write for the Scum?

Everyone knew the Scum had lied, but I didn't realise how far the police had gone to cover their tracks. The government should stand down hiding this for 23 years, and allowing the rag to continue. This hasn't added closure there is still much more to be done. -
Hamilton was to blame for the Maldonavo crash, and he should have give way to Grosjean. Zonal vision sticks to his own and expects everyone to just move for him. He'd be better suited for Nascar. Massa should have won the year Hamilton did, Glock (I think?) pulled an absolute bell end of a move and blocked Massa.

Also take in to account the amount of problems Button has had with his car, compared to Louis' that have all been his own fault.
-
He was in the championship team of the season. Non have them have played consistently at club level. Lallana has played double the games. Welbeck scores 1 in 4. Jones is gash, even at B'burn. Cleverley has played 13 games in the last 2 years. AOC played more games for Soton than Arsenal. Henderson was average at Sunderland, like Jones he got a good media review. I don't see how any of them deserve a place on that basis? Like you have said it's too early for Sterling, it is for the rest of them as well.

Phil Neville

I don't think we need much time. Duffy, Coleman and Garbutt could have all done with a loan this season to get them ready for next year, but they should be pushing for a starting place next season anyway. Coleman 23, Heitinga 28, Duffy 20, Oviedo 22/Garbutt 19 plus Barkley further up the pitch. The squads going to be even stronger next year when we're in the champs league -
Aha, it was actually your sanity I had in mind.

No need to worry its an unofficial twitter https://twitter.com/EvertonNewsFeed However, the person doing it has retweeted the OS Oviedo to wear number 8 shirt and then managed to use the wrong spelling when they have reiterated the news in their own tweet.
-
Bryan Oviedo will were the number 8 shirt with Matthew Kennedy taking the number 31 shirt I'm assuming Oviedo will be pushing for the first team with him getting such a low number. Surprised Kennedy got a squad number.
