Seems to fit into Martinez style of play looking at his strengths. Likes to play short passes and have a dig from range.
Heard his name before and could be decent buy for the future at only 20 years old.
Looks like he loves a step over.
I quite like the fact that some of videos seem to show that he likes to put himself about a bit too.
Bit excited about him and Coleman down the right hand side.
In relation to the comment above.
Given the chance would we sign Benteke, Sturridge or Dzeko?
Yes on all 3 counts, so sounds like a decent shout if we could get him.
Complete lack of bottle from most of the senior players. I believe it's only the 3rd time there has been a whitewash in the history of the Ashes, and it's not as a result of Australia being out of this world.
The Sri Lanka tour will be interesting in terms of selection as some of the old horses look like they are done and dusted.
Brilliant result that. They are a premiership side in all but name with some of the players they've got there.
Kranjcar, Onouha, Assou Ekotto (?), Onyewu
Couldn't have asked for anymore I think, and used our squad really well.
Thought Alcaraz was very good, and Stones was pretty impressive when he needed to be.
In midfield I thought we were pretty wasteful for the most part and Lukaku was never going to get a sniff the way they were defending.
Alcaraz for me today.
The bus was pretty much parked from the instant they went 1-0 up. How many last ditch challenges and blocks did they put in and some pretty shitty challenges leading to free kicks.
Another case of not playing (or not being allowed to play) particularly well, but still getting something from the game. Goes to show how our expectations have changed though, as even though we didn't play well, I still felt that we did more than enough to actually win the game.
Not enough consistently good play from us today. Some really impressive individual pieces of brilliance, but not often or frequently enough to put Stoke under pressure..... SO FAR!

I've got a lot of respect for Le Tissier and think he would have a reasonable opinion on the whole transfer thing, given that he had the talent to play at any of the top clubs back in his day but chose to continue playing for his 'home town' club even though they were never going to rip up trees.
As for the rest of them, they typically suck from the teat of the big 4!
I think the Messi to PSG rumours have been doing the rounds for a bit now. There are only a handful of teams that realistically could afford a transfer fee and his wages. PSG Real and probably Man City could maybe afford him.
Good start.... poor second half, yet still we run out 4-1 winners.
Sign of a good team when you can play badly (by the standards we've set so far) and still win comfortably in the end.
