I think if a player he fancies over 30 is available I think he would take the chance. I don’t see every player he brings in being 20-24, nothing wrong with a mature head on the pitch as long as the legs are there too.

I hope we can firstly get rid of a few in this window e.g. Schneiderlin, Niasse and Tosun - I can’t see a future for any of them.  I want young/quality players brought - players Silva can coach and mold.
Right back - I really like Wan Bassaka but have seen Aarons from Norwich mentioned too who I haven’t seen as much but is getting rave reviews.
Central mid - I want Gomes long-term - top player! I do think we need another who can replace Gueye in games like yesterday when maybe his qualities aren’t as important. Someone like Doucoure can do the lot - I also like Billing at Huddersfield - I think he’ll be a top top player.
Att - I want Lozano and think he’ll be reunited with Brands eventually. Still think we need another too - maybe a more physical presence a little further along the line than DCL.
I’d still want these players in the summer but it’d be a bonus if we could bed one or two long-term targets in now which would benefit us long-term.

tied for 6th most goals in the league with 8 goals.  also has 3 assists.  he works his ass off, one of my favorite players for us.

tied for the team lead with 3 assists (with gylfi).  for a guy that didn't play much to begin with that shows to me he has the ability to create and the vision to pick a pass.  seems like he really is becoming the pienaar type player on the left.

Love this bloke. A credit to any team he's played for and an absolute gentleman. Won't ever forget about his kindness towards others. We were lucky to have him here.

Games are fluid; it might have been a tackle/interception he made several minutes earlier so the ball wasn't where it ended up.

    Fuckinghell.
Coleman and Davies are fucking shite. Coleman has been a good servant but he’s done. Davies just isn’t good enough and never will be.
Pickford has had another fucking nightmare.
Richarlison needs to fuck off if he’s to stroll around like he doesn’t give a shit like he did today.
    Load. Of. Shite.

Its strange as we are clearly a better team this year but we arent getting the results to go with it.
We desperately need to pick up 3 points on boxing day.

Spurs where simply better even with the brainfarts and positioning errors we would have been beaten
They are a testament to slowly building a side that can compete without spending the earth, a very good and balanced side no two ways about it
We need to address some issues in the summer as I don't think much will get done in January, it's never going to happen overnight we are still in the process of shifting through the shite of previous managers but I have every faith in a season probably two we'll be more of a match for the better sides

then how should we have setup?  you just slate people and players and managers but never offer an alternative.

Palfy the goal is never a foul he rests his hand on Sanchez who throws himself forward like he's been shot. Last one is a shoulder barge last time I checked that hadn't been outlawed yet.

Best scenario in my opinion. I’d rather a full 52k than a 3rd full stadium.

It’s his first poor game for me, will happen. Didn’t expect to win that match anyway, so I’d rather it be against City than against the teams we should be beating.

I'll swap Dembellend for Timo Werner at Leipzig - proper player (Lookman the other way)

Don't see how you can blame him for the first goal. That's purely down to the shit tactic for the keeper to play it short outwide which leaves a huge gap in midfield to be exploited if you lose possession. Doubt many teams will use that tactic at the etihad this season.
