  1. Newcastle take the piss, who do they think they are? He's not going to save them from going back down!
  2. Agreed ^ I'm a goalkeeper (played for Everton in fact ) and I'd rather play games frequently to keep up to scratch. I woulden't be surprised to see Mucha playing against Hudds.
  3. Mucha Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines Gueye, Rodwell, Arteta, Pienaar Cahill, Beckford I'd play Cahill just behind Beckford in a sort of AM role. If we went something like 3-0 up at half time then the young, young lads can come on.
  4. ^Agreed, if we were to lose then it's going to be on hell of a hill to climb. But we've had slow starts before, so hopefully this game can get us back on track. Even though the side Moyes puts out will be a strong one I still expect Mucha to start over Howard.
  5. I don't think we will see the Yak until the transfer window is over, I think he's going to be on the move.
  6. Lostprophets: The Betrayed Young Guns: All Our Kings Are Dead You Me At Six: Hold Me Down KT Tunstall: Eye To The Telescope Pixie Lott: Turn It Up (purely to 'examine' the cover )
  7. We need someone that can score goals day in day out, if we get that then we are guarenteed some points. Our weakness is also conceding goals. If we hadn't of conceded against Blackburn and Wolves then we would have 4 points now rather than 1. I'm not pointing the finger at Howard but we need to be stronger at the back. Every dominant team has a great goalkeeper. Premiership Champions: Cech World Cup Winners: Casillas Man United (Old): Schmeichel We need a rock at the back and it needs to be Howard/Mucha.
  8. I wonder if Mucha is going to get a day out?
  9. EVERTON 5 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 1 Everton Scorers; Fellaini 7' Rodwell 14' Beckford 50' (pen) Saha 77' Osman 85' Heitenga missed penalty* Town scorers Heitenga 40' (own goal)
  10. I'm sure that he'll come back if we ask nicely
  11. Did someone seriously vote for Howard last game :/
  12. I think it us looking at what has happened in the past. We always seem to start off slow and I think that mentally the players feel that these games are harder than they need to be. Against Blackburn we could have had a point had it not been for a freak mistake from Howard (even though we should have won) and tonight was another 2 points gone begging. IMO we need to just calm it down otherwise we are going to self-destruct and head for a mid-table finish. And that's not what we want. Hopefully the Huddersfield game can give us a taste for winning and allow us to carry it on into the Premiership.

    Wolves (Home)

At least we managed to score. The problem is that we need to be beating teams like this if we want to have any chance of getting into the Champions/Europa league next season. I'm actually worried about the Huddersfield game now after a performance like that.. 6-0? Unlikely.
  14. Finished it after three days hooked to the television, one of the best games I've ever played - especially Scarecrow's parts Really hyped for the second one.
  15. Finished that game last week, oh it's amazing
  16. He should let them play in the African Cup (or whatever it's called now) and see how they do. I think he is forgetting that they are Nigeria, not fucking Brazil and needs to understand that they're not expected to get very far in tournements like the World Cup. And everyone has bad spells in the World Cup from time to time. Take us for example, I don't see Capello and the lads being told 'not to play for two years because you flopped' It's crazy, FIFA need to step in and have a word.
  17. LOL, they seem to be totally against the move seeing it as a total step down from Benitez. I think some of the Kopites expected Mourinho to come or something :/ I think that Hodgeson will do well at Anfield and I actually like the man (meaning they're not 100% arseholes anymore) but I'm happy with him taking over because I can't see him getting them to 4th this season. I reckon it will be another 6th/7th. And I'm pretty sure he'll only last about two seasons, he's not going to deliver what they're expecting I'm sure of it.
  18. Woohoo So that's Baines locked up. I think that Pienaar will go but with the money we can get for him we can get someone just as good! His performance in the World Cup was well below par so hopefully we can take his sale in a good light - Joe Cole perhaps? He's just been released by Chelsea.
  19. Just got Arkham Asylum rented and its' fucking amazing
  20. It looks nice and at least they haven't followed the bizarre colour schemes they have had with the other kits. I'll probably get this and have one of the new signings on the back - what shirt number will Messi be?
  21. I have a soft spot for Manchester United, so I want them to win the league. After the performance this season I've no doubt that Chelsea will demolish Liverpool about 3-0, the fact is, can Chelsea hold out for the title?
  22. Newcastle really are dickheads, taken from the comments during Inter/Barcelona game; "This is coming from another Newcastle fan from the States: Barca have to start playing more like The Toon if they want to break down Inter's solid defense. Forget about Ibra or Messi... they need Ameobi!" Jacques Behar

    Blackburn (away)

This game kept the European dream alive, good goals from all our boys. The penalty was as clear as it comes and Mikel didn't dissapoint by cooly rolling the ball into the corner, full marks to Victor for heading on Bainsey's throw in to the Yak who didn't have much to do other than find the net. Our winning goal was something special, a lovely turn from Saha and great vision from Cahill to see the move. Full marks to him And it also means that we took three points from that fat twat, Sam Allerdyce.
