I would protest just as vociferously if it was any other party electing a PM in such an undemocratic manner. Corbyn being elected was quite different, it was members voting for a party leader, not for a PM.

That’s a nice scatter gun way if doing things. 
Leave looked at individuals online profiles and then targeted facebook users based on their own prejudices. People who were out of work were targeted with advertising about jobs for foreign workers, people with a history of not liking posts that might show issues with Middle Eastern people were sent adverts about 60m Turks coming into the country. You wouldn’t have seen these things as you were not the target. Remains leaflet was in your house so you know about it. What leave did was designed for you to not know about it.
Forget sending a leaflet to everyone, targeting people with certain levels of prejudice with false adverts to get them to side with leave is massively over the line. 
I’m concerned that you’re worried about a leaflet more than this kind of action. This is the same kind of thing the Russians did in the US elections.
I’m embarrassed by what they did, I voted for these scumbags. They were clever, they were smart, they used modern technology, but they also crossed quite a few lines while they were at it. 
As I’ve said a few times in this thread, go and watch The Uncivil War and you’ll see yourself. The cover up has gone, they aren’t hiding what was done, it’s all out there. There just appears to be very little consequence.

this kind of thing only adds to my frustrations with it. 

Very surprised by that Steve. A large part of the shitshow that we’re in, which has brought the forth the need for a third GE in 3-4 years, is precisely because people “stayed away” from EU part. It’s an external influence and will continue to be regardless of whichever Brexit we get. 
Also, when that twat/those twats is/are on flyers, it’s time more than ever to speak up and send a message to the hate filled thundercunts.

Well I guess America elected one so we could just follow suit, difference being that Johnson is an intelligent, educated buffoon who is just looking out for himself and being manipulative while Trump is is a thick version who has people doing his manipulation for him so he can play golf.

I just said I can see the sense in Macrons position.  Now the UK gets another six months to decide whether to ratify the deal or revoke.. 

Peoples vote march was in the hundreds of thousands, the Pro Brexit was in the tens of thousands, at most.

The only vote the EU will force on the UK is to send members to the EU Parliament, which can hardly be described as a 'disregard of democracy', rather the opposite.
