  1. I agree, a big influx of players can cause disruption to a club, but we have a strong core group of players that will hopefully help the new arrivals gel. The club is good at settling players in. I agree that will be a test of Koemans management skills, but at least the majority of the signings have been done early so he has a chance to integrate them.
  2. We need the positions filled tho. We don't have cover for Baines if Garbutt is not an option. We need a replacement for Lukaku, and another creative attacking player as Bolasie will be out till the new year, and we will be signing Rooney.
  3. We will be signing at least 4 more players. Rooney Sigudersson or similar - Grey from Leicester for example. Back up left back Striker to replace Lukaku, who will be a proven goal scorer. Rooney will not be able to play 30+ games Sandro will play across the top 3 We will need a top striker to lead the line, if not Giroud then someone of similar stature. If we don't then all the signings we have made will be for naught as we wont have a striker who can get us 20+goals a season, which is what we need.
  4. Men's team not the only one getting some reinforcements
  5. My favorite true-ism "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste or intellect of people" - W C Field.
  6. Confirmed now. Watch the video http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-transfer-news-sandro-keane-13271608
  7. Don't want an unhappy player in the camp, plus saving 125K a week on wages.
  8. Having thought about it there a quite a few positives: 1) Loan for a year so not saddled with him if he fails. 2) Half his wages paid by Utd. 3) Will have a point to prove to Utd, Everton fans, and England manager so he will be motivated. 4) Still has a great range of passing and can create chances. 5) Will be a great role model (footballing not personal). 6) Great option to have considering we will be competing on numerous fronts this season.
  9. I have a feeling this guy is going to light up the league, made up with this transfer window.
  10. Doesn't have to be Rooney, could be someone else, he said while clutching at straws.
  11. Thanks, if its more visible more people will hopefully use it.
  12. I would like to be kept up to date on the womens team.
  13. No, Arsenal fans laugh that hes the only full back in the league who cant tackle.
  14. Cheers mate, it had to be broken down into its constituent parts and re-assembled when we got it in, to be honest I genuinely didn't think it would make it upstairs. But thanks to lots of work, prayers and swear words its now in situ, Its very comfortable and my wife is very happy now she can have a cup of tea on the new sofa, which means I am happy!
  15. Sorry, my seance of humour is a little off today as had to get our new sofa up 4 floors.
  16. He was poor when partnering Jags as Jags was in such terrible form till he came back at the end of the season. When he partnered the other center backs he was great, sharp tackling, good reading of the game and snuffed out danger early. If we had not had him our defense would not gone from one of the most porous to one of the tightest.
  17. Its a great resource, but its not always 100% accurate as there are many people who can alter it.
  18. I cycle to work so my Everton tops double up as my cycling shirts, get some shouts off fellow Blues on the way!
  19. 20 minutes more than Gerry could manage, bless him.
  20. I liked last seasons, quite like the Chang as its distinctive, and a decent beer! New kit looks good tho, I'll have to pick one up on my next pilgrimage to the old lady!
  21. Maybe going to announce with signing of Sandro and Keane after the Euros?
  22. My bad, they have spent over 60 million. They appear to be over their financial meltdown.
