Of course the quality depends on the game, I'm not saying its always poor. Maybe ive just been unlucky because i dont watch it regularly. On the flip side, I do love the physicality of the Scottish game, none of the pussyfooting about or 17rolls after a butterfly bumped into you you see in the EPL or foreign leagues. I know what you mean with a couple of teams dominating in the other leagues too, though applies less so to the EPL. One of the reasons I love it.

Celtic for me Maroon, largely down to Striker & Sensible World of Soccer on the Amiga when I was a kid, plus large family ties in Ireland and Scotland who all hated Rangers (dunno why, they weren't Celtic fans!). Then there was one of my idols growing up, Henrik Laarson. Now it's because of a few friends who follow Celtic intensely, and I want them to be happy. No disrespect intended, but I find Scottish football boring. Not just because of the domination if a small group of teams, but mostly the football - it's often riddled with Sunday pub team mistakes that bewilder!

wherever DK gets his facts from, whether memory or google, is irrelevant. He at least either shares his knowledge with us or puts the time in to find things out, not sure what the fuss is about. Its the reason I opened the thread for him, I find it quite interesting and enjoyable that someone wants to go to that amount of trouble to research/remember and share the findings/memories with the rest of us. It would be nice to hear you watched a game though DK
