Overall, I'm quite chipper. I think we should use this as a springboard on and off the field. A win against West Ham on Saturday would cap a really good week.

im guessing Forest will get 6-9 points. We may get 0-3.... for the latest ones. 

 

Looks a bit complicated with Forest (two years in Championship, one in PL) but they've definitely overspent more than us, with none of our mitigating circumstances. Hopefully, as you says, their punishment will be heftier than ours.

I have the same feeling. There is a lot more to consider if the original penalty is in any way overturned. 

Still very miffed other teams get penalties on the pitch and we get this!

I think we have to mix it up a bit, go two up top during games. Teams know what to expect from DCL. The same can't be said of Beto (who appears not to know what to expect from himself) and Chermiti.

Bairstow definitely needs to go. A bit torn on Root but can't complain if he's dropped.

I don't think it's an agenda against us because we're Everton per se (although it often seems that way), but I do think it's an agenda to stick a punishment on us because we don't have the clout to fight back. A historically significant club fallen on hard times, bereft of a board, struggling on the pitch - let's demonstrate how tough we are by clobbering them. Maybe the others will sit up and take note. 

The PL would not be doing this with either of the Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea.
