  1. think this is far from the best goal i have ever seen. Got to bare in mind the opposition too (no disrespect). Mikky's at goodison a few seasons ago against bolton was a screamer...with his left foot too. Ronaldo scored alot of better goals too to be honest....as much as i hated him. I was also fortunate enough to score quite a few from the 25-30 yard mark, including one from the half way lol. Had to stop this season though <_<
  2. Quite shocked at this, they were only 1 point off the top weren't they? Southgate has done really well this season after selling alot of there better players. Dont think he has spent very well though to be honest (Alves, Emnes, Digard). Still dont think he deserved the sack though.
  3. Be a huge Bonus if Peanuts can play. Also give me some much needed confidence for the game too.
  4. If you look back mate, i said we were capable of beating both teams, never said we should have. dont cry :gay:
  5. You dont think our side is capable of beating Wolves and Stoke at home? And you wanted Howard to be sent off instead of the Wolves player.... What type of "Blue" are you again.......?
  6. Dont think anybody thought it would be "easy" But our side is more than capable of beating Stoke and Wolves at home......Comfortably
  7. SHITE We should be slaughtering teams like Wolves and Stoke and home. Simply not good enough.
  8. So his contract ends after the world cup. Kind of worrying. May suggest that if he catches a few eyes at the world cup he could well be off. Seriously hope this isnt the case.
  9. This has been playing in the back of my mind too. I remember he said he would eventually sign a new contract after he initially rejected the first. Haven't heard anything since . But he doesnt sound unhappy at the club or anything. But i also hope this doesnt turn into a Graveson situation were a big club offers alot less than the player is worth because of the time on his contract, that would be devastating (all be it a much better player were talking about here). Hope he signs, Love the way he plays and i think has proved he is a pretty crucial player for us at times.
  10. wtf does that mean anyway? And you got to be from another planet if you think Pienaar is a dirty player, he is probably the most fouled player in the prem.
  11. Correct me if im wrong but didnt they already prove the banana thing wasnt true after they searched the stands or something.
  12. Not too many people have seen it yet. il tell ya after MOTD tonight
  13. Dissapointed.......Should be beating teams like Stoke at home.......Comfortably.
  14. gotta admit the looks are awful And the ratings are worse! Neville is 77, while Peanuts is 76 I love Pienaar aswell
  15. dont think we paid much for him at all. I heard most of it came from the rooney deal. not 100% sure thats true though. Still think he is right up there with the best in the league.
  16. it did say in the thread that it was at his London home. Still a disgrace though.
  17. Says on Kipper he is having a scan on his knee. Moyes is right though. 2 bad challenges left unpunished and 2 of are players with what look like serious injuries. Just our luck.........
  18. frustrated about billy, after seeing the difference between him and ossie in the athens game, its a let down. WHY PLAY 1 UPFRONT ASWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! home...against Blackburn...seriously...
  19. I don't necessarily think that it was a case of "sell to buy" because we did have the initial fee of £5m accepted by sheff utd before Al twitchy came into the picture. So it was probably a case of getting through the window by spending as little as possible. I dont expect us to go out and spend £20-30m on players every window because its a simple fact that we cannot do that. But when you see the likes of players like Kranjcar (who would easily better what we currently have) going for £3m! Surely!! Moyes must have picked up that Pompey were out to sell there best players earlier in this window with the sales of defoe and Crouch, so we could have had that deal done pretty quickly i would have thought. Think we were also quite unfortunate with Van der vaart aswell, will be interesting what happens with that one come January. Anyways, cant see us doing better than we did last season, probably mid-table......But how many times have people thought that in previous seasons. COYB.
  20. Guy on SSN just now, seems as though it was nobody, even though they are yet to recieve confirmation.....gutted now
