  1. He has subbed out a winger for DM. It's definitely more defensive and we only have 2 natural attacking players. I have no idea how this will pan out.
  2. Oh and yeh Ibra should have scored the penalty but he was decent enough, creating 2 good chances at the end but I completely agree about Pogba.
  3. Don't get me wrong he wasn't all bad. His movement was good and he picked up nice areas of space but he didn't threaten Bournemouth and when they didn't quicker more intricate player he was slow and sloppy. Like Romey says for the amount it would cost us would we really see the benefit?
  4. Yeh I doubt we will see Haye again too. It's a shame it ended the way it did because it was going to be an interesting 2nd half of the fight. I am made up for Bellew though, he is an average fighter but he has a big heart and he is a funny man too.
  5. Pogba just missed a massive chance with an air shot... All that money and you can't even kick the ball under no pressure!
  6. Pogba is really average. I really don't get the hype around him.
  7. Based on today, it would take a lot for him to get into the team. Takes one too many touches, passing players into trouble etc
  8. United very timid here. If they put their foot down they could score 3 or 4.
  9. There was nothing accidental about Mings stamp! Not surprised Ibra gave him one back!
  10. I'd agree with you Steve, he would also be a more natural support to Rom should we play 352 albeit that means someone else would lose out.
  11. I really can't stand Haye now. I used to have an appreciation for his psychological games but Bellew is well and truly in his head and he is losing it and Bellew is showing him to be the twat he is. I wish McGuigan would stay out of it, he doesn't need to get involved and it's not his style. I really rate him as a trainer but don't get brought down in the Haye shit storm. Watching them in the build up training on a boat wearing sunglasses... fuck off!
  12. Alli has been largely anonymous in the games I have seen of him however he has popped up with goals... a bit like Tim Cahill!
  13. I suspect the reaction to the alleged player revolt has sparked them into life. Shouldn't be required but it happens. They will be dangerous for a couple of games until they get beaten and then crawl back under their shell.
  14. Bellew has Haye right where he wants him. Haye who is known for his mouth didn't have a response when Bellew gave him some home truths and I didn't think Haye looked that great, if anything Bellew looked bigger. I still don't think Bellew will win but I think he has Haye wound up enough to go for an early knockout and Bellew will be ready to counter that recklessness and try to land. Haye has been knocked down by a cruiserweight before and that was in his prime so I definitely think Bellew can floor him.
  15. I agree with Eddie Jones though, if that is the future of rugby union it will be a very bleak future.
  16. Leicester playing well too, very much like last season. Running hard, going direct early and not taking any chances. Liverpool haven't been allowed to get out of the blocks.
  17. Arsenal are the most likely team to catch IMO. I could see us being within 3 points of them over the next 3 games.
  18. We are certainly playing much better but we haven't proven anything yet. From memory the only decent team we have played in that patch was City. We played well against Arsenal before that but otherwise we have still drawn with Hull, Borough and Stoke and lost at Leicester. Our next 5 games will show us where we really are. Spurs, the shite, United are all tough games and Hull are stronger now and West Brom are on our heels. Come out of them with 10+ points and thats good, come out with 6 or less then that's poor. Generally speaking though we are a much better side now. The young lads have come in, we have players in more familiar roles and confidence has been restored.
  19. Pogba again showing that he is a massive waste of money. Southampton midfield has been far superior. Forster all over the place in this game though.
  20. Pickford is very young though. De Gea was prone to clangers when he first turned up as was Joel. If we signed Pickford he would need to be loaned straight back out to get another full season under his belt.
  21. Completely agree. It's harsh to say they were lucky last season but it was statistically incredible that they scored as many as they did last year and didn't concede more than they did. They should have been tonked against Sevilla and yet Ranieri was talking like it was a good performance . Bottom line is they weren't winning and weren't performing and regardless of what he did last year if they get relegated it will take become more of an embarrassment rather than an amazing achievement.
