This has started exactly how the majority of us have predicted. I have no idea why Koeman does the same thing and expects the same problems not to arise.

I don't know enough about the current owners to be fair but historically the fans have had a say in the club, they have a decent stadium, a history of playing good football, little or no debt and they still have some decent players in the squad, albeit they need decent reinforcements in January. If you can avoid relegation, and it's not like they are adrift at the bottom, then I think they have a good base to build upon. A great signing for them would be Jags.

Further to my other reply he wasn't in the squad for the derby either. I think it's mad, who is going to influence the game more from wide, Gerry, DCL or Lennon? Koeman clearly doesn't rate him which is a shame.

Goes against what Koeman said in his press conference yesterday. I don't think he has in the squad in one of our previous games too.

It's also madness that Gerry isn't on the bench at least (assuming he isn't injured). There are no other game changers on that bench.

The thing is if you are struggling and you need someone to turn things around then you need to have a plan in place for that to happen before you pull the trigger. As has been mentioned, with Allardyce gone, there aren't very many credible, experienced options (domestically) and certainly not managers who have a history of beating relegation with a team that are looking as though they will drop. Laudrup back maybe? Ally McCoist? I don't know who would be available from abroad but I would expect Swansea to be quite an exciting project for someone.

He is clearly a lad that needs games and I don't think he has let us down when he has played so that respect he has been unlucky. He is a frustrating player because you can imagine him skinning every opposition player only to miss the shot. If he played every game in a season I would put a pretty big bet on him being the assist and chances created leader. A bit like Barkley and Lukaku though, there is a downside in respect of what else he brings to the side on a bad day.

I have no problem with players wanting to move onto perceived bigger and better things. That's part and parcel of anyone's working career but the difference is Berahino has downed tools whereas Suarez almost won Liverpool the league.

Never in a millions years. If he couldn't buy into Brenda Rogers or Klopps philosophy then he won't buy into Koeman's. Like Romey said, he isn't that good either.
