  1. That might help prevent some of the play acting we see
  2. Im not sure I buy into the whole biased thing. I just think its human error and some refs arent up to the job. Moyes said himself it was an odd choice for ref given their past. Quite clearly he is a shit referee, he couldnt even manage consistency with his decisions over 90 minutes let alone a season. Football needs to take a look itself and realise the technology available could prevent situations like this. Given the stakes at hand it is becoming paramount. We were robbed yesterday, not strictly of 3 points but a good game of football and thats what its all about really
  3. Felt quite emotional after reading that. Proper cheesed off after yesterday but that picked me up just a little bit. And the missus is out Top first post
  4. Mate I share your pain it was a shyte decision and it ruined what was shaping up to be a good game. I just believe what happened oversteps the line. The FA will investigate, we may get fined and who knows what else. I have always thought we were better than that, we carried ourselves with a bit more dignity and didnt need to resort to bollocks like that. I agree with PeteO above Suarez, Gerrard and Diouf all ***** but the minority of mindless planks that pulled this stunt yesterday are no better
  5. Surely the point of having a squad is to rotate players dependent upon fitness and form. His form is less than we have come to expect from him as he has been outstanding before. You dont become a bad player overnight and I feel sure he can attain high levels again but for now I think he needs a kick up the backside and the only way I see this happening is a spell on the bench and then earn your place back in the side. There were several mistakes yesterday, his poor clearance early doors created a sitter for Suarez, and we could and should have been punished but for a piss poor finish by Suarez
  6. Fair enough I take your point. To my mind there is no reason or justification for it whatever had happened on the pitch. Its just a game. I hope they catch them and make sure they never return to Goodison Park or any other ground. Its shyte like yesterday that is making me fall out of love with the game which was once my life. firstly the dog shit reffing of the game, secondly the reaction of the Liverpool players to Rodwells challenge, thirdly Dogleash and bullshit after the game, I didnae see it, neither will I and fourth the coin throwing.
  7. I agree. Yesterday stick Rodders in the sin bin for 5 mins, the 4th official reviews what happened and makes a call on whether the ref got it right. It would take a little pressure of the ref as well if there is a safety net in place to ensure decisions are the correct one
  8. Its somewhat apples and oranges comparing the potential loss of home and livelihood to a bad refeering decision in a game of football. Im not looking for an argument but both you and Duncan have sought to justify the actions of these (and I use the term loosely) fans You did the same as I did and had a good moan over several pints as it should be
  9. I was as bitterly disappointed by yesterdays sending off and result as the next man but it never crossed my mind to bring the clubs name into disrepute by involving myself in coin throwing. Kids lash out when they dont get their own way, grown men should have a little more restraint
  10. And they react to a bad refereeing decision by lobbing coins and bottles at the opposition players. You are seeking to justify these actions as human nature?
  11. How do these people deal with adversity away from football?
  12. I was thinking about this too. I reckon it needs to be explored as red cards change games and not for the better. Surely the entertainment of fans is paramount and there was little in yesterdays game for us after 23 minutes. The red card is still an option for a blatant dangerous foul. It seems to work well in Rugby so should be discussed in relation to football
  13. Cmon Beard its a game, just a game. No excuses whatsoever Mindless idiots and im disgusted to be associated with them as should any decent Evertonian
  14. Mindless fucktards It brings shame on us as a club. A small minority reflect incredibly badly on the club. However disgruntled you are with the referee and opposition there is just no excuse
  15. How is he supposed to know he is playing shit and needs to up his game when he gets picked every week? Moyes has a part to play and it goes something like "Phil, you have been nothing short of toilet recently, have a few games on the bench, Jonny might not play like an amateur"
  16. Tough one as they all put in a shift trying to stave off the inevitable after a horrific clanger by the ref Felli played well, Saha looked interested to a point, Osman is more important than most think it all fell apart when he went off. Jags is an absolute liabilty and must be dropped
  17. It was a royal fuck up. Bollock well and truly dropped. it happens from time to time usually in the derby It just ruins what should have been a great game. I thought it was shaping up to be a good match and a goal would have sparked it into life. Everyone suffers due to a very hasty refereeing decision
  18. Welcome JP. I hope you enjoy it here As we are thinking Evertonians A man takes a barrell that weighs 20kg and puts something in it The barell now weighs less than 20kg What did he put in it?
  19. I have been called worse. Mostly by Marco
  20. Our back 4 has looked like a slightly more cohesive unit recently. I would leave it as it is. We have big games coming up and will need to be tight at the back. Hard on Hibbo if Nevile does play and then gets his place back. Hibbo has hardly put a foot wrong yet and his cross for Velios goal on Sat was something Neville could never had done. I do like Phil but he has looked a yard off the pace so far this season and I wonder whether the knees are starting to knock
  21. In todays Mail and Express that Moyes is about to be offered a new long term contract to secure his services for the club Has Bill run that one past the bank?
