  1. I see what you are saying. Would that affect the overall price of the club though? Surely you would have to look upon players as a fixed asset value and their contracts as well. These would be renewed as and when the business required them to be to reflect the valuation of that player at a specific point in time?
  2. Point taken re marketing, however I feel sure there are untapped revenues or revenues that could be maximised Im not sure I fully understand what you mean in point 2, can you elaborate or am I being a dipshit Having thought about this, Im basing my thoughts on something entirely irrelevent, Im currently adding another small business into my empire, lol and a valuation is being done on a multiple method so my accountant tells me. The amount of monies that you can expect to have available from the business (based upon the past financials) to pay yourself a salary, service any debt, and marklet the business assuming that everything remains status quo after you take over So this would in theory be £0 as Bill takes no money and the club makes no profit. therefore I guess is irrelevent And look at the size of the fucking irrelevent post
  3. There are other aspects, sales and marketing revenue streams as mentioned. If they wipe out the debt the club turns an overall profit so is not an unattractive proposition. Those sales and marketing streams are relatively untapped so there is good expansion there. Goodwill of the business, its current trading partners , ongoing revenue streams eg sponsorship deals, tv rights All this on top of a squad with a total value of £150million? All in all if I had £150mill knocking about I would be beating a path to Bills door and that is with heart and head (maybe a bit more heart). If anyone wants to give me £150mill then I will sort this mess out
  4. Baines - 20million Jags - 15million Coleman- 5million Rodwell- 15million Barkley- 20million Fellaini - 20million There is 95million right there
  5. £100million + debt seems more than reasonable. When taking into account the assets of the club.
  6. Good on him, I would do the same I wonder what I might do if the missus fell in
  7. Top brass have been working to find Fabio Capello’s long-term successor and Tottenham chief Redknapp is the red-hot choice to step into the job. And People Sport can reveal that an official approach could be made to Spurs for their manager BEFORE Capello’s contract runs out next summer. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/news/2011/09/10/exclusive-fa-plot-official-approach-for-redknapp-to-coach-england-in-euro-s-102039-23411528/ I didnt understand why Capello was allowed to stay on after our dismal performance at the world cup, particularly when he announced he would leave after 2012. Not convinced Redknapp is the right man for the job. Should he get it though where does it leave us, would Spurs be sniffing around Moyes? Who do you think should replace Capello, should it be sooner rather than later? And might it affect us in terms of our manager leaving?
  8. I went with Osman. I thought he worked well with Cahill and helped him with his performance, got the goal won the penner should have had another. Aside Hibbert, Jags, Distin anyone of them could have won it to be fair
  9. bag of cunts What you got in the bag marco cunts
  10. Think it might be time for you to take the post match team talk with the defence marco Its time for jags to sit on the bench and heitinga given a few games, he needs a wake up call. I thought we were flat footed at times and dont press in defence like we do elsewhere and dont push out quick enough
  11. Despite our luck in getting 3 points at Blackburn it is no consolation for today really. We deserved the 3 and have been undone by 2 sloppy mistakes. Jags just looks a shadow of the player we know he can be, giving away needless fouls instead of claiming balls that should be his. Distin was better but certainly at fault for their 2nd. We looked more cohesive going forward today, Cahill impressed me and there was more to him today than just putting himself about, Ossie was good and worked well in tandem with Cahill. Rodders put in a better shift than we have been used to seeing. Velios looked good for 10mins but I feel he snatched his chance a bit, IMO he had time for a touch. Good cameo by Drenthe and feel sure he will get better with fitness and game time (the 2 go together really) All in all much to be positive about despite dropping 2 points
  12. FFS they were queing up 2-2 Poor defending
  13. penalty better late than never
  14. Good chance. Jags couldnt keep it down
  15. Under the cosh a bit. Distin looks composed and reading things well
  16. Agree Ten I would like to think BK might be able to carry on in some sort of role for the club. If he had a vast personal fortune he might have been prepared to pour it into the club but he hasnt. He did offer us some stability when he first joined the board and this shouldnt be forgotten. He just lacks the nous for running a club and some decisions have set us back. All in all it probably is time for change but I wouldnt want BK leaving with a bitter taste in his mouth, we should be thankful for the good and remember it
  17. I like him too. We need a bit of passion and someone to put it all in. Playing on your own up front is tough but it seems he has the attributes to do it. Good luck son
  18. From the peoples group Facebook page We want to stress, we want to take the passion of the protest, and take it into the ground and build up a goodison atmosphere to be proud of, get right behind the team. Rather than people saying it could negatively influence the players, lets us it as a positive. We are 100% behind the players, and we urge a fantastic atmosphere inside the ground come 3pm. SUPPORT THE TEAM, OPPOSE STAGNATION! COYB

The speedy Real Madrid winger was a summer target for several sides, including Portuguese giants Benfica. Drenthe, 24, said: "I told my agent the only thing I wanted is to go to England. If not I'd stay in Madrid
