I would echo that Matt. A threadbare squad like ours needs a few fillers given we dont have masses of cash. It isnt the solution but it does help plug a few gaps when the inevitable injuries strike

I dont see the point in signing a tall striker if we dont solve our width problems and start putting crosses into the box to service the tall guy. He has pace and strength, his pace has got him out of trouble more than once but as he ages and starts to lose his pace his lack of positioning sense and his inability to read a game will become more exposed.
