  1. I actually think my first choice is Favre, and it's a three way tie between Pellegrini, De Boer, and Emery.
  2. It would be amazing if we got Emery. It would be a work of magic, and I'd be shocked if he leaves Sevilla after guaranteed Champions League.
  3. It's interesting that we don't have crumpets here (or at least I haven't seen them in the two states I live in). I wonder why they haven't caught on.
  4. I'm actually dreading that part. I just moved to Seattle two years ago, about 2700 miles away, and now I'm moving about the same distance back. It's a rough move for sure. Edit: roughly 4300 km for you guys on the metric system.
  5. Thanks! I'll actually be in Hattiesburg, which I believe is about an hour north of Gulf Shores. I've been to New Orleans quite a bit but can't say I know the area.
  6. I don't doubt his ability. You do. However, his attitude is another story. Honestly haf, you're in the minority on Lukaku for a reason, and it doesn't have a thing to do with others wanting him to succeed just prove themselves right. I've never seen someone hold a grudge against a player more than you do with Rom. People don't take you seriously on the subject because you harp on every little thing to the point where it's behind petty. If his heart isn't on it then fine, ship him off and fair enough, but I'd rather keep him if he wants to be here.
  7. Well, I'm moving back to MS, except I'll be near the coast instead in the northern part of the state. Long story short, I got the job I interviewed for, so in feeling pretty good right now.
  8. Please tell me that's translated into English from the Belgian press or something... maybe I can hold some hope that his words are lost in translation. He's starting to frustrate me. I never like a player who blames his teammates.
  9. The more I read on De Boer, the more I like him.
  10. Haha okay, so I guess a better question then is what the hell is a crumpet? I refuse to Google it and demand answers.
  11. I definitely plan on making a trip over there, so I'll add those to the bucket list. Rubes, what's the main difference between a crumpet and muffin?
  12. It's pretty cheap. It usually cost me about $8/six pack (12 oz. bottles) It's one of my favorites, so I'm surprised to see that a lot think it's bad! But I guess that's varying tasts in general for you.
  13. Jansenn is the only one we could realistically get at this point, and hesaid still a bit of unknown from the Dutch league. Remember Altidore? He tore the Dutch league up. The other two will be playing Champions League.
  14. Between the two, I'm taking Garbutt. He's shown a lot of promise in his brief cameos, and Oviedo can't stay healthy. Oviedo has also been figured out in several matches. I like his heart, but I think he'd better in a lesser league.
  15. I'm with you on there being a better captain for Everton, but Jags definitely puts his body on the line for the team, and I've definitely seen him make some pretty heroic tackles. I think you're being a little harsh here.
  16. This just blew my mind. I'm only of aware of Fries and the different names in front of them (crinkle, waffle, shoestrings, etc.)
  17. I just think his control of the ball is overlooked -- one of the best first touches you'll see for a player his size. I think his size is also why the elbows stick out... I'm not saying he shouldn't do more to prevent them, but if he's 5'9" then those elbows aren't hitting folks in the face. He's a good DCM, and you can throw him forward when you need a goal. I think ManU fans discriminate against him, because he is a Moyes buy (and his price tag was a bit inflated).
  18. I'd take him back at the right price. Like Mike said, about half of what we paid for him and I'd take him back... but wages are another story.
  19. Great post, Keith! I try to explain to my buddy who is a Chelsea fan why I love Everton and he just doesn't get it. Once Everton touches you...
  20. Player + £30-40MM? No thanks. I'd pay £20MM at most, without exchanging a player. I like Rooney a lot, but it's obvious his best days have passed him by.
  21. I've always wanted to try laughing gas, but alas, they never give it to me.
  22. I'd be happy with those two, of course the only thing missing is PL experience.
