  1. It’s a good discussion all, but the club are not going to sack Dyche due to a 0-1 loss to Arsenal. If they are even considering it, they will wait to judge how we do against Luton.
  2. Chicago I hope your right. I love intense football with loads of crosses. I’m an old fashioned fan and love to see that type of football rather than passing possession bore fests. This is why I can’t wait for Harrison to be on the pitch. Him one side, McNeil the other side and either Dom or Beto in the middle. I loved watching Steven crossing the ball in for Sharp and Gray to get on the end of. I would give anything for that football to come back again.
  3. Actually we created more chances than the majority of the premier league. Only two teams were above us. If we set up differently, and Doucs had the exact same chance right in front of goal…. I feel the result would have been the same regardless of tactics. Tactics don’t make a player miss a sitter. I agree we were way to negative against Arsenal. But as the manager pointed out, it wasn’t a tactic for us to be so cheap with the ball. That’s down to individual players making bad decision’s, or rather poor decisions execution. I know people were angry the weekend. But I think we all know that if we had played open attacking football against Arsenal, we would have been torn apart. I just refuse to use matches like that to strengthen points as I feel it’s not a good picture of where we are. Now if we turn up the next two matches and play the same, then I will start asking questions. But for now, I’m not going to use a match against Arsenal as a match at to judge where we are. Im ok with others doing just that. I’m just discussing it that’s all
  4. And Arsenal. They are an ok team. Shef U lost to two late goals away to spurs this week. Not to shabby really. And yes Villa can smash anyone on their day. So if we look at it subjectively, it’s nowhere near as bad as we are making it out to be. But it’s all open to our own interpretation.
  5. Is that Dyches fault, or the players missing the chances we are creating? Genuine question. If we’re creating chances, but not scoring them, is that due to the managers tactics, or players being good enough?
  6. We’ve gone to a team that created the third most chances in the top league in the world, to a team that teams have been found out and are toothless and the rest…… after playing Arsenal haha. And as usual teams always play shit when they play us. Nothing to do with us negating their tactics…. It’s just teams don’t turn up against is for some reason.
  7. This isn’t new though is it? Haven't we been loaning from these for years. And they are nothing to do with 777. Weren’t these the ones that put up opposition against the last takeover as they didn’t want anyone borrowing money against their actual loan money. Which is surely the right thing to do. If anything that told me they have the best interests of the clubs money and their own. I hate this world of borrowing everything, it just gets so messed up.
  8. So confusing. Media seems to think it’s a good thing and that if it doesn’t go through we will be in big trouble. Fans think it’s a bad thing and if it goes through we will be in big trouble. Anyone on here actually know what they are talking about and can explain a bit for us thicko’s please haha.
  9. Am I the only one who expected to lose 0-3 today by an Arsenal team that can rip any team apart? I must be old. I remember playing teams like this and only have one chance in the whole game. Play open against these and you get destroyed. I get we want to play free flowing football, but we don’t have those players. Everyone called for Garner to play on the middle, and when he did he was absolute pants. So not sure who in the squad we can get to do that role? Were in a fight this season. We need to stay solid and break forward when we can. That’s going to be the majority of our season i‘m afraid.
  10. Don’t think we’ve been that bad. We’re never going to have much of the ball against Arsenal. No team does. But we’ve had 7 efforts on goal against Arsenal. And we have restricted them to a handful of chances. Some players are coming back from injury. You can see with McNeil he has struggled today.
  11. Because I put it here and I still have a soft spot for him…. So there!
  12. So happy for Richarlison today. After the week he has had, he’s come off the bench to get the equaliser.
  13. People have mentioned this asset stripping a few times. Is this because they have a history of doing this?
  14. isn't our current ownership hated so much that any sale should be a good sale? They have a good few clubs under their belt that were about to collapse and are not a lot more stable. But I don’t know enough about them to make a proper judgement. A lot of what I read seems inflated to be honest. The whole arrest for drugs for example. It was t as much as Barkley or Bilic used to snort at cream! And a few late payments? …. Damn I’m going to hell!
  15. Selling: life size ceiling poster if anyone wants it!
  16. true true. The Everton merry go round in full flight. Don’t we just love being Evertonians.
  17. They have to go through the directors test. If they fail this, then it won’t happen. If the government pass them…. That’s them saying they are a responsible company. Probably fake and another made up news feed to hit Everton again and again.
  18. I hate reading shit like that. Pep could be in trouble!!!!!!! Headline!!! Rumours have it that if Man City get relegated, Pep could possibly lose his job. It’s amazing that if Dyche record of a point every four games continues… he may lose his job! So thankful they let us know.
  19. Reading the comments…. We got beat by a bunch of lads who run the dogems! Hahaha love it.
  20. I think that’s probably a case of not in sight not in mind. He has never came across as trouble. But then again who does until you see them playing for your team.
  21. Really looking forward to seeing Harrison on laying in our shirt myself.
  22. We only got 8m for because no other team in the entire universe offered anymore for him. Us fans may feel that’s under priced. But football scouts and DoFs who do it for a job…. Don’t. So yes, 8m for a player who has already hit his ceiling. Seems to fall out with managers wherever he goes… is a good piece of business.
