Gana has been caught in possession an at least five times so far, he also set them up for there best chance in the first half.
But he seems to have woken up a bit in the second half.
And agreed, Davies seems to have slowed down after an excellent first half.
Scrappy match so far. No real chances or pressure other than a near chance for Davies and a messy desicion in our area for them.
Nice crisp passing when we're not under pressure though.
Seems he is proving a lot of us wrong. The way he has turned Ross and Rom around recently is very commendable. And his handling the the young lads seems to be working to.
He is gaining some consistency recently, yes against Stoke he had an off day. But his performance levels have been rising, even without scoring.
His personality is starting to come through, and that's a good thing.
But Hull aren't a lower tier side.
And you do know he came on as a substitute for Hull don't you? And for their main striker...not to support him.
I do agree a forward should be able to do more than score goals... was just being naughty and pointing out that many argue that as long as a striker scores....then that's his job.
And the fact remains that he has a better stroke rate than Rom haha.
But I do agree. I do t think he is good enough for us. But I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as people have made out. Let's face it , people are still prepared to pay for him.
