Never saw enough of him to judge him properly. But I do seem to remember him different to most. From what I saw, he was energetic, strong, committed and could take a player on. Exciting player to watch for me and one that has a chance when he is fit to show that.

Or he can get fit, the manager take a look in training and decide if he thinks he is good enough. We'll know by the summer if Koeman rates him or not.

I know, it's just it would need to be the right deal for the board to agree. With his wage etc I'm not sure it's viable. Would love it to be.

I did say that maybe his strike rate is suffering as he is t scoring more goals with these apparent extra chances. It's no him that's benefitting though, it's the rest of the team. We had four different scorers against city and another against palace. This is a massive improvement. What I have noticed is that Lukaku has performed better for the team with the upturn in confidence. He is holding the ball better. He is creating more for his team mates. He looks a much better player. Let's celebrate this.

Agreeing with this one. Lukaku seems to be getting just as much service as before, maybe a little less. The biggest difference for me is that the rest of the team are getting chances and scoring too. For me, Ross was on the outside of the box all season, but for some reason he wasn't shooting. Now he seems to have a go. This puts us on the front foot and allows the whole team to push forward. If anything, we have taken the pressure from Rom and spread it around the team... like it should be. This means Rom can concentrate on his own game.

Read a few Hull forums last night. It's a good move for him, he doesn't seem to generate the hate he does here. The only criticism they seemed to have Saturday was his defending for the second goal... and that was a split. Apparently he had one of their best efforts on goal with a smart turn and shot. Looked for highlights of him on the match but couldn't find them.

Has Koeman publicly slated every player who didn't make the squad? Has he publicly slated one other single player that didn't make the squad? No one is saying he should be in the squad or he should be given any special dispensation or anything, just that the public shaming was not needed!

I wouldn't say it has nothing bing to do with it, it obviously has. Gana would have played, I'm sure. Steks would have stayed if he didn't get injured. What we can't be sure of, is would these have made any difference? Is it the players brought in that have made the difference, or is it the managers tactics/formation?

Came into his own at an important time yesterday. Set the goal up and then made three timely interceptions, or got his foot in at the edge of our area when they were threatening. What I like about him most is that he always seems involved and never hides away. Was around everything we did yesterday.

Just a thought, but how much better are we with Baines in the team.

I just hope we can keep up this momentum and put some real pressure on sixth place. If we finish seventh then fine, as long as we fight for it. All these wins may keep giving the boys a little more confidence.
