This guy is a just a real great person. Love the way he knows how to speak and live the way he is helping others in need. Add to that I feel he is going to be a star for us.

Same here. I just can't see how he can pick them up after the last shambles. If he could he would have done it countless times this season. I just want to see us fight until the end of the season, but I just can't see any heart.

Didn't say I believe in him. Just that I don't give the players a free ticket like most the rest if our fans. Having played the game for 25+ years I understand that I manager can only be part of what happens on the pitch. I found that I myself had a massive influence on how we played and the results that we got. So did the rest of my team. We had superstars, but they would be on the bench if they thought they were too good for us. Our team was a team from day one, if you weren't prepared to be part of that team then you knew where the door was. We won,lost and fought together as a team.

I just want him to realise he is a massive part of a team sitting in the bottom half of the table. He is around about 9% of the reason for that for me. Same as all other players. Sorry just a bit wound up over the whole player versus club thing. I was responding to the Lukaku is better than Everton comment. I do believe that all players and club officials should stand together though, they should win, lose, draw together. A goal scored is important but so is not conceding. He didn't get us through the semi single handedly, it was a team effort. Same as his goals haven't been enough to get us into the champions league....is that his fault? No of course not it's the whole teams. Is a clean sheet down to Lukaku? Yes...it is. Again it's a team thing.

Because I am a fan and a player. I captained my side and took responsibility for my team. I came on as sub and still shared that responsibility....that's what the word Team stands for! Funnily enough, I now work as a production leader and take responsibility for my job. As a professional football player that gets paid a fortune for his job I would expect them to have some loyalty to that club. Guess we're just cut from a different cloth.

Can't wait to see him in the team again if I'm honest. So exciting to watch. He will mature and then he will be scary.

I'm just shocked there aren't loads like me. Absolutely shocked. This is an Everton Forum not a Lukaku forum...or it Should be. I want him to stay, I want him to shut up and stand with his teammates. I want him to take an equal part of responsibility for our position. I want to see him fight for us! But if he wants to go, then let him. We are much more important as a club to me. I am a football fan, an Everton fan, not a neutral. We will love on the same as we always do, same as we always have. Player better than a club? Sad to hear fans support that.
