  1. Think of modern football a bit differently. No longer is a winger a player that gets to the byline to put in cross...players are a bit more intelligent these days and link up play. Pienaar should have shown this.
  2. Like peinaar? Maybe trying something to see of it works could be a brave new world! Let's watch this space and see what happens. I'll gladly admit if I'm wrong.
  3. Try Cleverley there, he is the closest webhave to a Pienaar. Doesn't have the quick feet but he can move the ball on with speed. I think him and Baines will make a good partnership.
  4. Put Barkley deep and move Cleverley in front? Or maybe Mirralas central in Barkleys place? I think he is too much of a reserved player to stay in that position and that he will end up deeper. May as well start bedding him in now.
  5. And do you really believe we are a mid table team? I don't think so, I just think we are on a slow run where we are picking up points slowly without the ball going in. Palace could easily have been 4-1 on another day. Today could have been 4-0 at half time. Were close to clicking and someone is going to get a kicking whem we do.
  6. I'm not throwing it on his shoulders.it's the teams fault, including the manager. I just don't agree that Mirralas OS the answer, he should already be settled and ready to give his all. Mirralas is an Everton player, he owes us, not the other way round. And how much time exactly does he need? Does he deserve special care? Not for me. The blame is om players like Ross who is not really adding anything at the moment. Our defence who are apparently like kids that need explaining how to head a ball and defend a cross. I don't care of its due to a falling out or if he wants out...fact is he isn't performing when he comes on.
  7. Says you haha! OK so tell me, why isn't he taking his chances? Is he too good to be a sub? Or is it Everton letting him down? Fact is he has been shit for a long time.you can keep spouting how he is our best player blah blah blah bit the fact is when he does get a chance he doesn't take it. I have hoped for so long that when he comes on he will make an impact, but then it's the same old anti climax. I'm just not sure how many chances we need to give him.
  8. Was poor again when he came on today. Think he has maybe had his day with us. Just nothing to offer. Please sell gim so we can stop getting excited when he comes on...just to be let down time again.
  9. Went for Stones, he was just so slick on the ball. Gave me a few heart attacks but always seemed to come out looking good
  10. He should be training with them daily. So.please fact is he isn't good enough for us now. Last year he was pretty bad but this year he hasn't taken any of his chances, be it 10 minutes or 20. We need to sell him now....not good enough for us.
  11. I was just thinking g the same thing. People need to wake up a bit, the reason he is still on the pitch is because we have a qualified manager who cam recognise he is a threat today, even with two minutes left. He is just getting no support. Very good second half from him.
  12. I think Besic could be a fantastic player if given a decent run.
  13. I thought Baines put in three very good precise and very direct through balls. If they had been handled better by the forwards we would be raving about them.
  14. Haha thanks. I meant it though. Beardsley was one of the hardest working forwards I have watched. He was the first line of defence and never have our opposition defence a break.
  15. Let me get this straight...we want to take on a player that's not getting picked in his team due to being an alcoholic? Sarcasm aside though I would love to see him back.
  16. Totally agree with you here. I was looking myself and thinking who could I change? Lennon? Pace would be wastes against a team sitting back. Mirralas? Gamble whether he can be arsed or not. Naismith? Maybe..an industrious and brave player could have caused more havoc in the box. But then when you saw how tired Kone was, we couldn't have really gone wrong changing him.
  17. Rom for me. Two woodwork and worked hard all match, tried his best to make something happen.
  18. 100% agree. Enjoyed that other than the result. Think we are a joy to watch.
  19. The post, bar..twice and some good saves stopped us winning this one. Was the best 1-1 draw I have watched for a while. Disappointed but not angry with this one.
  20. Hope so. He's better than our bench, but not better than our starting eleven. Be good for him to move on and get game time.
  21. I think even Kone is on the forum asking to come off now. Poor guy is fucked.
  22. Theres only one Lukaku, and if you feed him......
