Seeing the replay, you can see that he's already gping down before they collide....if that was Jerry it would be a dive. No penalty.

Yes that's right, he came out and didn't get even a yard to it..miles away. Stones cleared a yard off the line and Galloway was ready if he missed, never going f to he a goal. But worrying from Howard.

that's not telling the whole story. We have been dangerous with our attempts while they have been token get it on target shots. Possession has been mainly at the back or mid third easy possession, where as ours has been forward play. They remind me of us last season.

Kone is looking a different player than last season. Get the feeling he is working with big Dunc a lot. Excellent forward release for us.

I'm not so sure we need him anymore. We could certainly use him...I just don't think we should be held to ransom for him. Would you want him in Barkleys place? Where would he slot into?

It's not that we are happy with it Haf, just not sure what I can do about it. Admittedly I am Happier....but that's the same as when we improve on a player position. We may be happier with the improved player...but it doesn't mean it's ideal. I am a football fan before a business model fan.

I don't think it will take long before people realise just how much we have missed him. There are not many players in our team that makes the game look easy. Baines makes the simple things look very easy. He doesn't often lose the ball, he doesn't panick and can attack. With him whiping balls in from deep and Kone and Rom running in from behind, we could really be devastating if it all clicks...even if they get headed clear...they are going to drop another feet of Ross!

They are just chucking any old name out now.

I still class him as our most complete player. He is made for a Martinez team...holds onto the ball well and doesn't panick. He makes the game look very easy.

I would love to see him get more time in Barryj position this year and slowly make the transition. He can pass, tackle, dribble and isn't scared of shooting either....just needs time and discipline.

12 months ago I would have been willing to give it a go as Baines has the tools in his locker for the position....bur it would be a work in progress rather than him drop right in. Now though...we have plenty of cover in that area and younger players coming through. Why spend time on a 30 year old who needs work in that area? Why not work on Besic? Or Ledson? And we have been missing Baines at left back.. Not defensively but offensively.

Rom is putting the ball away regularly thisvseason and it's great to see. 11 goals already....we could have a 20 goal striker this year. If he continues like this he could even hit 25! That should put twenty on top of his price. If he stays and we can keep Ross and Jerry...we could be scary next year.
