Our only decent corner taker isn't getting into the team at the moment. Mirralas is the only one who puts it in with real pace.

Disturbing. Three or four years ago I used to feel relieved when we scored from open play as we didn't see creative enough to carve out chances. Though at the same time we were known for being dangerous at set pieces. What we needed at that time was to add open play goals to our game. But not at the expense of our deadly set plays. We need a mix of both to make teams really fear us.

To be fair that's a good attitude. Seems he is recognising that others are on form and that is why he is having difficulties getting back into the team. And he wants to prove himself. Can't really knock that.

Wouldn't swap him for anyone. He's not really playing badly, just a few mistakes creeping in...which is to be expected really. Your right though, he still looks better than 99% of the premierships defenders.

Though when we get a corner against us I panick. It's almost like I expect to concede at every corner.

Went to the Leeds match and spoke to a few fans about him. They said they will be happy for us to take him as he's an average player for them. They don't think he is good enough for the premier. Don't know of that's playing the game or not.

Yes, they have a decent team that are performing to a good level. Not luck, but good management. I do think we are capable of going there and winning though. Stop Payet and strangle there offensive play and we can hurt them at the back.

I think he is trying to keep his head down and just work. But it's not going his way at the moment. Sometimes you try to hard to make it look like are focused that mistakes happen. Look at Ross last year. He tried so hard to make a difference that his desicions making suffered for it. Give him time and he will either come good or we will make a killing on him.

Scary to imagine him in thwelve months time. Hoping it's a slow learning curve though so Barca don't buy him back

There was an explanation... Just not one that you wanted to hear. Martinez said that Mirralas will be ready making a mark on the team bow that he has recovered from injury and got his fitness back. But he still has to realise it's actions that will earn him a starting place...not reputation. Although I didn't think he was that bad on Sunday. He did well.

Ross seems to be getting a lot of stock today...not sure why Although there could be five highlights of bad passes today, I though he had so much of the ball and seemed to have a touch in everything we did. If a player has 100 touches in a game and 5 of those are bad...why do we focus on the five bad ones and not the ninety five good ones?
