Mirralas needs to open his eyes and realise that he didn't play because we loaned Lennon...who simply performed much better than him. His second half of the season was the poorest I have ever saw him play. If he trained like he played, then how does he think that he should have played more?

That is an interesting article. Maybe a good move would be to find a buyer for Earls shares. It seems he has lost interest in the club completely. I disagree that he hasn't worked to find the club stability. We were in a desperate situation financially and could easily have faced much harsher penalties if we had ran the club as others have ran thiers. By working on that shoe string and stabilising our finances we have put ourselves in a position where the TV money can make a big difference to is rather than get swallowed up by the banks. I don't think the issue with Kenright is his managerial decisions...but rather a lack of capital. The post you put up clearly shows there's no investment coming in from anyone else. I'm not going to argue with you Makis as I have loved having Bill as a chairman...we are known as a club of integrity and a lot of that is down to him. But I will continue to read your points and posts as they ate interesting and valid. I'm just simply a supporter of Kenright.

Who said we don't need to win anything? Can you please quote me on that and send me to the vault. We haven't just survived, we have punched above our weight...fact. History doesn't give you a God given right to win trophy. So we sold players to make cash to buy another...is that what you're saying? Is that not a smart business model. I am not saying that Bill is the chairman that we need. He simply hasn't the money to be....again fact. But he hasn't done us much wrong in my opinion either. Bill deserves a lot of credit forbade work he has put in at Everton. I agree though it's time we move on if we want to progress.

Well done Makis you have proved that we have stability. You have also proved how well the club is run as we have remained a top flight club without investment. He is right guys, we have a great chairman and the club is run amazingly well. He has also manages to spend 28m on Lukaku. The guy deserves a medal doesn't he?

And although he doesn't like football...he's played for 18 months on an injury injury.

Again...missing the whole point completely. Think of it as purely footballing terms and not stat building. If a player plays 80% of a move that ends up in a goal bur does not get the assist....is he not doing his job? Any football player will recognise that the answer is...Yes he is doing his job. Try not to relate this point to Ross.

Now is the wrong time to quit on him. Now is his and our chance to see what Roberto is made of. This summer WILL tell one way or another.

Lukaku has only scored ten...I agree the stats back it up. Not saying that mate. I watched so many matches when Ossie turned a player, played the ball down the channel for Baines to cross and get an assist. Ossie never gets the stat as recognition. I agree it's really poor from Barkley, I'm just saying that the assists stat isn't a measure of that. Last year he was the next greatest English talent...no assists.

Is an assist only the last direct ball before the goal? Or does a playmaker who starts and creates the whole move get the assist? This is my point pad. Stats lie. Not sticking up for Barkley, he has been terrible this year. Just that stats aren't the best way to back that up ;-)

Leave Mirralas out of this....MC destroyed him this season. If we can get MC to shut the fuck up for a year...he will be great next season.

Just one small point to remember.....stats. Forget them, they will only slur your own opinion. Of a player saves a shot on his own goalline with his chest....then dribbles the ball past eight players....slides the Ball into the penalty area for a winger to make a simple square ball to the forward, who taps it into an empty net.....who gets the stats? Forward gets a goal. Winger gets an assist. Yet the real playmaker gets no stat. Goals and assists dont make a player, contribution do.

Yes he did take a nasty knock at kick off. That's why I wander if he has the heart for it. He needs a really good pre season and to come back enjoying football again.

I thought he had a really good game and didn't look out of place at all. Agree he will make a good CB, but a decent left back as well.
