  1. After the way he has gone about this, i just hope moyes stays away. i have gone from being a fan of his to praying he doesnt come her. We are Everton FC and just the same as Drenthe, we need to stick to our rpincipals and stay an honest club.
  2. Would hate to see him here, dirty F'ing twat! He is overated and a nasty player. Not the type we want here at Everton.
  3. so what do you guys think of Niang then? Lets get back on course guys. He is here for a trail. Would we expect him to join if we decide we want him? Most trialists are usually impressed when they come here so we could be suprised with this one. And he does look an exciting prospect.
  4. Bit worried with Arsenal selling RVP that they may come sniffing for one of our targets now. Get him signed fast DM.
  5. haha you can we are having no news coming through...weve all lost the plot. Back on track though. This would suprise the crap out of me if it came off. From the links you posted, this guy seems the real thing as far as prospects go. Can we really beat one of the champions league teams to him? if we did that would be a major coup! But i would be shocked.
  6. Haf your gonna be happy. I have just watched DM drive away from the carpark....he has officially left the car park!
  7. Sad to see him go as after watching him come through the ranks from being a kid i really think he will turn into a really good player. But as others have said, look what we did with thr Rooney money. If we can make one top signing with the cash, that will improve our squad then maybe this has a silver lining. Smart move by city though, buying an English grown player that has the potential to be a top prem player. If they play him great! and if they dont, they have just stopped thier rivals getting hold of one of the cream of English talent....from a very tiny pool. Good luck Jack! hope this turns out to be a good move for you.
  8. Why would we want to sell Rodwell? i dont get some of you lol. The lad is a classy looking player and looked good in his brief spells last season, and looked real good pre-season. He has been a stand out player through all levels of the England set-up and scores goals as well. Ye hes been injured, but the lad is a great prospect and one that we would be foolish to let go. Ok if we cant keep him, then take 20 for him. Rodwell is going to prove a lot of you wrong, of that i am sure of. Moysey, stick with him mate and he will reward you.
  9. I am sure you can only offer a contract every 12 months and only a two year contract untill 18...or is it three years? I know he is 19 now, but i think only just. Anyway, he is one that has come along quietly and looks to be quite sharp.

Was a decent performance, but nothing special. Score flattered us a bit if were honest. Hibbos goal was well taken and defo not staged. His earlier shot would have been a goal of the season contender if it went in! Felli...same old, same old...pure class! Great 45 mins from Naismith. not only his goals but his overall effort. Looks like he has a real engine. Defense....a prem team would have punished us on more than a few occasions. exs te free header at start of second half. Another would have been Barkleys silly trick outside his own area, losing the ball then trying to stud the guys legs. Luckily he missed the tackle and the ref played on. Reminded me of QPR again. Really hopes he learns his lesson soon or we wont be seeing him near the first team. Attacking wise we looked real good in the first half. Pienaar was the biggest threat ( as usual ) but have to say coleman did pretty good when he came on. Gueye again was good in stages, but is another that needs to work just as hard from start to finish and not just in flashes.....Reminds me so much of billy. Rodders looks like hes getting back on track with a solid game when he came on. All in all i think that was so much better than Blackpool. But the night belonged to Hibbo! Great performance and such a nice guy........a goal against Man U and maybe we should be talking about a statue for him haha!
  11. ye but we still want our players to perform..and lets face it, today we got outplayed in pretty much every department. Our two centre backs being the worst of our performers. Both looked clumsy, slow and at times reckless. But you are right we cant look too much into it as it is only a friendly. Just disapointed thats all. On a brighter note, Barkley looked impressive in his little cameo and Naismith already looks like he is going to fit in perfectly
  12. does anyone know that starting line up? i would like to see naismith on one side and Peanuts on the other. With Felli and Gibbo in the middle we should be pretty solid. What about a fast right back to bring into the team during the season? Hibbo is the best he has ever been but we really need to be thinking of a long term replacment for him now. Not sure Coleman is going to be right for that position, more of a winger than a defender.
  13. After all the talk about how much we sold and brought him for has gone down. it all boils down to one question. Could we have got better for 4.5 million? My opinion is NO! I watched the last match he played for us and how he broke down when asked about coming back. I honestly believed in the guy that day and still do. i love players who would bleed to play for us and after his mistake i feel that he would. If he turned out not being as good i wouldnt even knock him for that. Any player that wants to play for us deserves support. I want to see us move forward but not at the expense of our history. Come on Peanuts, show it was the correct desicion.
  14. just watched the highlights. Dissapointing that two of our young ones gave the game away. Duffy made a clown of the first and Rodders tried an extravagent pass which was intercepted for the second. I know its early and only pre-season, but these are the guys we are relying on going forward. The highlights really didnt do Duffy any favours...left bewtween two players for thier first missed sitter and then the goal. Hope he learnt something from this game and uses it grow stronger.
  15. Vic is not a bad player at all...it's just his match commitment. If he could put in the effort of the guy who is just departing then maybe Vic could show us something this year. I remember at times watching him thinking he is a bull! a bit like when Beattie was actually good ( not often ) But then other times he looks like he has no energy or just cant be bothered. Vic take a look at Cahil videos and offer that kind of commitment and this could be your year. Not writing you off yet son.
  16. ye point taken he is a better player than when we brought him admittedly. Suppose i am just being a bit over judgmental .....again. i think i am getting older now and finding it easier to critisise than praise haha. But serious question though. were there any times watching last season when you thought that he could have easily put a leg out, or got his head to something that ended up as a goal? I only ask as i am wandering if maybe it is just me.
  17. Lol would still love to hear your opinion! your an intellegent guy, you can respond and make your point without causing too much offense. and if not i am open for a kicking haha!
  18. Matt...no offense taken mate. it's just my opinion that's all. Like i said, i may be the only person that noticed these things....and maybe i have got it wrong. but i do think we conceded a lot of real simple goals just because our last man was scared to stick out a leg, or head a ball over the bar. Dont misunderstand and think hes a bad player, i just think hes nowhere as good as we rate him.....which is a reason he doesnt command a high price ( in my opinion ) If i am honest, last season i used to sigh when he was picked. yes he has a good season, but many others have had "a good season". I am just holding my judgement until i see him performing this season.
  19. Billy excited me. Did a bit of research and he ooked a class player. Think in another team he still has the potential to show some real class. Drenthe excited me too Beattie did too....i gotta start questioning mu judgment haha!
  20. Simple fact is that Fener dont really want him unless it's for chips. Yobo do yourself a favour and turn your back on them. Better to play for a club that will back you and have trust in you....Fener dont. I still think he can offer us something.
  21. 5m would be a decent price for him and to be honest he had a "better" season last year but he was still weak in important area's. Dont know if any others watched highlights and shouted at the TV "for F*** sake, why didnt you head that away" i know i spent many times last season wandering why he wont head a ball while facing his own nets. Yes its dangerous, but if you let it go past you and they score in anycase then surely its worth the risk. Hes a good player but not one that we couldnt easily replace, even with what we already have. And sorry for saying this, but hes level with Jags as far as ability goe's, just jags will more likey put the effort and guts in. Jags goes into tackles he has no right to win, same with headers. Heigts goes in hard to tackles he should win....and only heads balls that he knows he will win.
  22. He recieved a yellow card for that tackle...seemed harsh as it looked a solid tackle to me. Ross was dissapointing in that match but he is a young guy and i am sure he will have watched that back with the coaching staff and learned a few valuable lessons. Honestly, matches like that are the best thing for him at the moment as it will highlight what is needed to become a prem player. There are a few moments during those highlights where he looked like he was trying to hard to measure the simple passes...maybe nerves or even a concious effort to work on his weak area's. Agree that lundstrum looked good...he has looked good for the last 12 months to be honest. he looks like a man playing with boys at times. This is going to be a big year for Ross and i think we all need to have patience with him. He could turn out to be a world class player.
  23. Seemed a good guy too. I remember that opening day defeat against aresnal when we recieved a lesson. I was standing with my son after the match waiting for autographs and he walked out with a few first teamers, no-one knew who he was and whispers were going around saying "i think its the new lad coleman". he could have taken it the wrong way, but he just smiled and signed every program that was handed out to him. Very proffesional for a young lad his age. I think we have lost an under-rated young player.
  24. i am wounded! He struch me as a real laid back sensible guy in the other interview. But to say something like that, he must realise the effect a comment like that has on fans. Oh well we may as well sell him now then. no point building around him if hes going to run to a bigger club the second they come sniffing. May as well get the cash now and build for the future. Think he is one of the best midfielders in the country at the moment and would love him to stay, but i love players that love the club more.
  25. Did Felli really say that? I really hope not because he is by far our best player. I saw the interview where he did the same old proffesional footballer answers that they are taught to say, like "i am ambitious and if everton wanted to sell me then ok" and "i am an everton player at the minute and i dont listen to speculation" But those are the same old staple interview answers that every player says. And of course i dont read into them because we could debate there meanins for ever. But if he has said that he is willing to go then i have to say i am really dissapointed.
