In Belgium we don't have the habit if working with weekly numbers. Players don't make that much here I just dont see DM agreeing to pay some untried 20 yr old 90k euros a week.... carlmc25 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 I;m not saying he won't be a good signing or add to our team but we needed more, especially in the midfield department. We've got Castillo as well, it's just a pity Obinna didn't work out as otherwise we would have strengthened quite nicely. We just need players back from injury, if we have signed this guy then Lescott will move back to CM and Baines can play LW so it's not all doom and gloom. But yes, it's been a frustrating summer but this will go a long way towards making me feel at least a hint of optimism about the new season...
