Randomness
although i was in a pub being had off by 4 female liverpool supporters who go to my school i still predict "we're gonna win 4-3" we were going to win 11 vs 11 liverpool knew it so gerrard got himself sent off so we had to take the initiative which we spectaculary failed to do. Duncan up for it? having a laugh. the substitutions actually made things worse, Shows how bad we are without arteta not once in the 2nd half did we string 5 passes on the deck together. and to cap it all off "Craig Craig" "what" "easy easy easy easy easy easy easy YOU SHUTTTUP" 2 good things come out of this 1) arteta wont make the spain squad 2) Beattie wont make england. Mac
The only good thing to come out of me watching the game yesterday, was I taught my kids a few new swearwords, un-intentionally of course. Tip for the future don't scream at the TV "F*ck off and die Gerarrd you f*cking c*nt bubble", the kids laughed and repeated it to Tara who threw a track. I am in the dog house. But he is a c*nt bubble though. ATB Mac
God is Reborn
maybe your predictions will happen next year..... and i once again thank Liverpool Airport for escorting the 40,000 liverpool fans back to Norway, that tiny little airport holding 40,000 people in a day must be very hard... Peter Crouch is possibly the worst prem striker ever? he was the 8th highest goalscorer in the prem last year, with a team that got relegated,so what does that say about the other 190 strikers in the league, if the worst ever premiership striker is scoring goals for a relegated team??? David Moyes quote after yesterdays game. "Crouch caused us problems and he is a very difficult to play against because he is so big as well as being a good player." You are a better judge of player than the Moyesiah?? Id ring Kenwright and tell him to sack the manager as you are a much better judge of player. and id rather have crouch who gives everything for the team and contributes than that big scottish freak who thinks he is a street brawler, gets banned for 5 games, comes back and punches someone and gets another ban. 40 grand a week for doing nothing..Moyes knows what he is doing...Duncan i thank you for playing 100 minutes of football a season for £1.9 million a year.. great manager, great player.. bitter bias hatred jealousy i smell once again Edited March 26, 2006 by God is Reborn

I watched it on my own, while my missus went the pub with her RS family and I met them afterwards (OH THE JOY). Walked in the boozer and there are grown men sitting there in liverpoo shirts. My missuss family gave me a bit of stick and I said. Liverpool playing away?... Why? Well all the fellas in here wearing liverpol shirts, I only wear mine when I go the match every other week. MikeO
Just another viewpoint I found...from a Manc. "At that point, every decision Phil Dowd made was going to be a card because the players seemed to have lost the plot." Was it only me who saw Cahill pleading with the referee to calm down? It was the ref who seemed to have lost the plot - in fact he was totally out of his depth. After Stevie G was sent off, every time Everton went near a Liverpool player, the home crowd were screaming for blood (as it should be at a passionate derby game). It's up to the ref to rise above that and call it how he sees it. Everyone knew there was no way Everton would end the game with 11 men, but Van Der Meyde's challenge warranted no more than a yellow (look at his eyes - they never leave the ball) meanwhile Garcia's elbow smash into Weir's face was a clear straight red. The ref simply didn't dare to give it. Phil Dowd - not fit to ref a high profile Premiership game. Nick Nick West, Manchester
Patch Tuesday
well, I've not been to the match for a while, and that wasn't the game to go back for. anyway, as I've been busy all week, I've only got round to this now so it'll be a bit stream of consciousness: their crowd were quiet, think they sang twice up to the time they scored, just shouting about fouls and cards. the ref was on day release and wanted to make the most of it. Kewell should have been booked but not Stubbs. Kewell was just standing back to back with Stubbs and pushing him, with no interest in what was happening to the ball. Started well, but Gerrard going off changed it all. Playing against 10 men isn't always the advantage you'd like it to be. They've still got more quality than us, but the passion, and pressing that could have evened things up weren't there. Wright puts everyone on edge. Beattie and Dunc had a good go near the end, with some decent knockdowns from both, but a lack of understanding meant they didn't come to anything. At the time I thought VDM should have gone, but having seen the replay, was just a booking. Think the ref had similar angle to my view unfortunately. Disappointed, but derbys aren't normal anyway. Hopefully pick up the good run again for the rest of the season, and start the next one like we mean it. (And if Zed hadn't already done it, I'd have quoted Mac's bubble story. Funniest thing I've seen on here!)
