MikeO
ive went 4 arteta, but wud off picked the big fella if he hadnt got booked. Didn't really see enough to make a decision, unreliable streams today <_< . Hopefully due to there being relatively few matches played we'll get a decent amount of air-time on MOTD, though I won't be holding my breath. holystove
gave it to fellaini ... utter dominance in the first half, a little less in the second but still good .. good to see him score again after a short drought. what a difference it makes when he plays or not .. no opposing side knows what to do about him.. i think we're screwed now against liverpool, just don't have enough threats without him. right flank wasn't that impressive today with osman and hibbert not having their best games.. kearnss
jags did the job for me today , didnt let anything past and a rock at the back but arteta shows persistent quality!!! Edited January 10, 2009 by scottyefc
Blue 250
I gave it to Pienaar, his passing is sometimes off, but he's every where.Great ball control, if he could find a runner for that final pass he would be lethal.Great cross for the first goal. MikeO
Great cross for the first goal. That was Baines according to the Beeb (better have been, it's an assist for my fantasy team).
Blue 250
^^Garth Crooks said it was Arteta who crossed it!......^^
aaron
Lescott for me, all game never got a thing wrong and kept it very clean to avoid being booked.
toffee77
Arteta again, controlled things. Shame about Fellaini.

12ubb3rduck
lol people are so biased areteta scored a neat free kick but really he didnt do much else. On the otherhand lescott was world class today and it was great to see. I think moyes is going to have to leave yobo out if lescott keeps playing like that. I agree with you there mate, although it seems like our whole team made that cross for the goal Baines, Arteta, Pienaar. I woulden't be surprised if someone said that it was Fellaini that crossed it I do believe that Pienaar is over-looked. If he was injured we really would miss him. He's not a world-class legend but he definatly changes the game for us. Runs at players and does a fantastic job of it. lol people are so biased areteta scored a neat free kick but really he didnt do much else. I think people have differant opinions mate. Arteta did score a great free kick but he also made a good contribution the match on a whole. He's earned those MOTM votes. Guest efctaxi
I gave my vote to Arteta , as his imput has been invaluable recently , and he hasn't let all the transfer nonsense go to his head . One name that should have been on that list today was the referees We got a goal that shouldn't have stood , and 2 yellows that easily could have been 2 reds , had he been more ruthless . My initial vote goes to him
