CanadaToffee
If it goes to penalties I think I'll turn the TV off - not sure I could face it. and I have a feeling that's excactly what will happen.

bigdunc11
Its on itv at 8 too. I reckon we get an early goal soak up a lot of pressure and then sicken them with a late 2nd.. so 2-0 with Tim and Fellaini the scorers..
Churinga2
1-0!!! Fellaini (probably wants extra-revenge for the missed games, and the qualification matches for CL with Standard)

I'm trying to block that prospect out altogether . Don't remember ever seeing Howard save a pen for us...Reina is a different matter. We did win one in 2004 though...I was there. Bristol City in the Carling Cup . And we had Teflon in goal (though he didn't actually save one) . PENALTY SHOOT-OUT: Murray scored 1-0, Watson saved 1-0, Lita missed 1-0, Cahill scored 1-1, Heffernan scored 2-1, Stubbs scored 2-2, Miller scored 3-2, Campbell scored 3-3, Coles hit bar 3-3, Carsley scored 3-4. Jimmy the blue
I worry about Mo tonight, with Riley as ref plus the play acting formation diving crap of the shite I just hope he lasts the distance. The filth are noted for their efforts to get people sent off, remember Mascherano.................-unt
MikeO
Team (not surprisingly) is unchanged. Segundo Castillo, Lars Jacobsen, Andy van der Meyde, Joseph Yobo, Jack Rodwell, Carlo Nash, and Dan Gosling on the bench. No Vic.

joemac92
I cant bear the thought of losing to the shite on home turf again We need to go at them all guna blazing, if we can get Baines and Hibbo linking up the wings with Pienaar and Arteta i can feel something special coming tonight I have no doubt that Lescott and Jags will be nothing short of inspirational and so for that reason I predict a 2-0 Win Fella and Cahill scoring Nothing would been more to me that a blue victory tonight. COYB!

chicagoblue
To be honest we've started a bit shaky. If it carries on like this Howard is going to have work to do.

MikeO
Gerrard out, time to go mental! Last time he went off in a derby he was sent off after 18 mins and we still lost, so don't get too excited just yet.

dark
Wish Fellaini would calm down; 43 Fellaini has a little kick at Skrtel as the ball goes out for a Liverpool goal-kick. Gets a lecture from ref Wiley but again escapes a card. 39 Fellaini fouls Lucas - he can't believe the decision. He looks a decent bet to see yellow before the night's out the way things are going. MikeO
Treading a dangerous line here, two yellows and we could have had more. Davey needs to sort them out at half time. Liverpool are there for the taking. Lucas and Dossena are crap (mind you, so's Fellaini so far), Gerrard's off and Torres is peripheral. Be upset if we lose from here. joemac92
From what I have seen I dont think Peanuts will be coming back on Still confident of a Victory, They are hopeless without gerrard.
EFC-Paul
So far its a scrappy game if we are to take them we wont get much of a better chance then tonight with Gerrard off and Torres looking like a dead rat we have a far better chance. If Pienaar is injured i would bring van der Meyde on.

Pienaar wont be coming on, thats for sure and we can take something good from this game. Gerrard was thier key and we need to take Liverpool why they are down like this. It's for the taking, lets do it. COYB. Edited February 4, 2009 by dark
