Louis Posted March 20, 2010 Report Share Posted March 20, 2010 He signed on 25th Feb. 25-2-10: Everton have signed 16-year-old defender Johan Hammar from Malmo. The Swedish youngster was originally on trial at Goodison Park in the summer and has been offered a permanent deal with the Toffees. The clubs agreed a verbal fee at the start of the year, which was thought to be lower than the obligatory educational fee due to Hammar not having a contract at Malmo. The player was understood to have left for Merseyside on Wednesday morning before finalising the deal in the afternoon. Martin Klette, the player's agent, has stated that Hammar will join up with his new team at the end of the season.
