Romey 1878
surprised its taken this long to be honest. Dont think changing manager now will actually make a difference though... This. He's an idiot so I'm glad I won't have to listen to him spout shit in his interviews.
MikeO
Wonder why "gardening leave" though ? Don't see the point for him or the club....why not just sack him?
Matt
might cost them more to stop his contract rather than having him run it out, like with Benitez! Always thought the term 'gardening leave' was a bit :gay: to be honest!

Dont think changing manager now will actually make a difference though... said same to my dad before i mean..9 games or so left what's the point? id say jan-feb is the latest to get rid of a manager personally cos i cant see much changing without him... Always thought the term 'gardening leave' was a bit :gay: to be honest! It means Brown and Anthony Gardner are off on their jollies, he hasnt been sacked
iggy
said same to my dad before i mean..9 games or so left what's the point? A point here...... a certain David Moyes was appointed on 14th March 2002, so it can (not certain of course) make a bit if difference! Bill
Paul Jewell or Ian Holloway. ???
Lowensda
love to see Holloway in the prem, hes mental n would b far more entertaining in post-match interviews!
Romey 1878
It'd be a bad move for Holloway IMO, there's no point moving to Hull when there's still a chance they'll swap leagues and at best be playing in the same league (The Championship). So it seems a bit pointless to me.

MikeO
BBC reckon it's going to be Iain Dowie....unveiled tomorrow. Like the bloke myself but he's not got a great managerial record so far.
rubecula
I am not sure but I think I heard a whisper that they may be after Irvine. Anyone else heard this?
Romey 1878
BBC reckon it's going to be Iain Dowie....unveiled tomorrow. Like the bloke myself but he's not got a great managerial record so far. He'll take them down for sure, but if he can get rip of pretty much that whole (shit) squad in the summer and bring in his own players he'll have a good chance of bringing them back up again (only to be sacked due to being shit in the Premiership ). rubecula
I know Phil Brown was not a good manager really. But I did sort of like the guy.
