Porto hope to interest Everton in a swap deal, with the South African striker Benni McCarthy moving to Goodison Park in exchange for Andy van der Meyde. ..............................

They saying a straight swap as well with no money involved which would be quite good.

If VDm does really want to leave then swap him for Benni and then we have back up for the strikers.

Then just need to bring in someone to replace VDM may be from the lower leagues at a lower price

Looks like could be another over the top player, in 3 seasons at Porto he hasnt played a league match, only plays in Euro matches and internationals.:blink: Has played 19 games and been used 6 times as sub, and scored 8 goals, but all in other competitions. Very very strange. not played a lot of football in the last 3 seasons.

So on that basis he might give us the same amount of games we got from V D Meyde

I'v never liked McCarthy at all and i'm standing by my earlier statements that Andy Pandy will come good this year.

I think all this talk of him wanting a move is manufactured and the problem is with moyes turning his nose up. I know hes been injured for most of his career and all the other stories but we all know IF he plays he is good and thats alot more than standing by players like Bent and McFadden!

I still think he is worth as much now as he will be in January and we should keep him until then before shooting the fat arse piss head if he aint performing.

My humble opinion as always :D

Im starting to warm to the idea of Jeffers coming back now, i have no idea why like

................................

Cos he comes on a free and Davey can offer him shit money.

If he gets it into his head and accepts that he's not as good as he thought he was, it might make him work at getting his career back on track.

If this happens it could work out.

Plus we could have free sky TV whenever he was at Goodison!

That infos wrong he has played every year in the league in the last 3 seasons. They must only be recording European games.
