If it was a North v South game, based on location of clubs (not where a player's born). First we're asking what would be your Premier League Northern All-stars XI? (The 10 most northern clubs being Newcastle, Sunderland, Blackburn, Bolton, Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Everton, Wigan and Stoke City) thought i'd put it on here and see what people's teams would be out of interest.. If the EPL were smart, it's another potential revenue maker...look at the NHL for example, they have an All-star game - Eastern Conference Vs Western Conference, and they can pull the biggest crowds. It's a new marketing avenue, including shirts and the like, where proceeds can go to the community programs and charity groups. A maximum of two players per team isn't unrealistic imo? South: Chelsea Arsenal Tottenham QPR Fulham Swansea Norwich Aston Villa WBA Wolves North: Manchester United Liverpool Everton Manchester City WIgan Bolton Newcastle Sunderland Blackburn Stoke It's like having just two teams; i think it's a brilliant idea Be great banter for the northern southern divide.
