Redside
This put a smile on my face this morning and i thought i would share it with you guys. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/877820-phil-neville-peeved-after-royston-drenthe-laughs-at-his-step-over#ixzz1a1UiXobi I can just see it now, Neville running at Drenthe doing a step over and Royston just rolling around in fits of laughter
Matt
on the plus side, must be settling in ok if he feels that comfortable to laugh at the captain!
Redside
yeah seems a well grounded lad, i think he will be great for you lot has everything you need to succeed in the EPL. I wanted him instead of babel
Lowensda
In fairness that is funny. The banter sounds good!

Hafnia
Nevilles step overs are just cringeworthy - reminds me of a kid kicking the ball up mid way through a dribble because they can kick it further on the volley. Given the fact that drethe can do the elastico/flip flap (the one the ronaldinho flicks ball one way and another in one swift movement) - why on earth would you do a 1 mph step over on him? http://awesomefootballclips.blogspot.com/2010/09/royston-drenthe-brilliant-elastico.html Probably was hilarious - he does get mega stick for his step overs off saha, barkley etc.
Mogsy
I really hope Moyes starts picking drenthe from the starts, cause he does seem to have settled in well, and seems right up for it. We'll just have to hold on to him then. Edited October 7, 2011 by mogsy
Louis
He wants to impress here so that they can get back in the Dutch squad for the Euros.
StevO
if he impresses then great, i want to see him play. its not often we talented AND hungry players wanting to get on the pitch.
craigb
Haha that's funny, every now and again he does fool people with them. And on the subject of Drenthe he does look perfect for our team as Redside mentioned... He just needs to remember when to try certain things like cross field balls etc as he has been caught out a couple of times with them.
