It might help if he stopped trying to hit everything so hard, and concentrate on just hitting the target and making the keeper work. 2 great chances and 2 miss kicks can't help the guy. What message are we sending to our players who are on the fringe play like a load of old hackney gash and keep your place. Score from the bench and get dropped.
