I'm unsure how much of that score can be looked into though. Obviously I wasn't born so I've no idea but I'm guessing people didn't take the Texaco Cup seriously, I'm guessing it was a bit like the Capital One Cup just shitter. You were right in your previous post Zoo....it was proper Mickey Mouse stuff. 30,000+ were there for the closest home league game (v QPR) to it.
