London Blue
Well as transfer developments seem to be rather slow at the moment I got to wondering given today's obscenely inflated transfer market how much would the Everton Team of 1987 be worth today? Hafnia
The 84/85 is the one that was the best Southall:- £60m Stevens:- £20m Ratcliffe:- £50m Mountfield:- £15m Van den hauwe:- £16m Steven:- £50m Reid:- £28m (age) Bracewell £40m Sheedy £50m Sharpe:- £30m Gray :- £15m (age)
smeghead1
Mountfield would go for way more than 15 million a central defender who chipped in with as many goals as him would be twice that. MikeO

MikeO
Agree with the above, Mountfield and Stevens would be higher in my estimation. Heath would be £25m, we'd even get £10m+ for Alan Harper! Taking it back a bit, what price Ball, Harvey, Kendall etc?
smeghead1
Don't remember Ball, Harvey or Kendall unfortunately but I kind of recall and have been told about Latchford. What kind of fee would he command nowadays??
London Blue
Taking it back a bit, what price Ball, Harvey, Kendall etc? You look at Pogpa and the price he is going at and you would have to say that all 3 would be worth about the same. Although before my time I would say that midfield would dominate in today's game. Bill
£40 million Robert he would be worth twice that much, if they are looking at 60m for Lukaku, Bob the latch was a far better player.
