I've been in contact with Claire and she wants me to let everyone know what's happened, it's probably the worst thing ive had to do.

Claire and her dad attended the NSNO end of season party last night. The bad news is that her dad died after the party.

I can't imagine how shes feeling atm but I think we all owe it to her to show that we care, Evertonians are a family and we've lost one of our own. So let's look after another of own in Claire. Anything you want to say to her say it in here, and when she has time Im sure she'll appreciate it.

My dad died before his time (though probably not by as much) a few years ago so I can say that the pain does lessen with time. Can see the hill peak where we put his ashes from the M5 so I talk to him every time I drive past, me and Josh like to tell him about how Everton are doing, specially if we're on our way home from Goodison and we remind him how misguided he was to be a Spurs fan....it's an impossible gap to fill Claire but it does get easier.
